Some are criticising Dodge 'cause they "Hellcat" everything. But to be honest they're doing right. You like a Hellcat coupe? Get a Challenger. You don't want a coupe and you're more of a sedan person? Get a Charger. You want to take the whole family for the ride of their lives? Get a Durango. In short, Dodge are the only ones who does it right, simple as that!
Plus they Hellcat everything because its a great engine. Itd be stupid for them to spend $$$$ to develop another 700hp engine to pass emissions and be reliable, just to be different than the Hellcat engine
The Hellcat formula is ostentatious, and is 100% superfluous. Adding it to all of these vehicles is even more so. Its no wonder they're such a hit.
It doesn't make any logical sense, but its a bloody good time. Glad there is finally an automaker with the balls to sell you something fun.

The interior in the dodges are hands down so much better than any other manufacturer... I have the big screen in my truck and its amazing love it ....

@@fordrestored4646 As far as interior quality, the TRX wins. As far as power-train quality, the hellcat has better reliability ratings than the HO eco-boost. The transmission in the TRX is also superior and is even used in Toyota's. The ford transmission is made by GM. I wouldn't trust any transmission made by GM. These trucks are known for having decent diff's and axles. As far as suspension, looking at how beefy the suspension is on the TRX, i'm sure it'll hold up. I think this truck will hold up well, possibly even better than the normal ram's.
RC cars planes and helicopters possibly. Dodge is known for their vehicles falling apart so only time will tell lol
You have a perfect up is down and down is up shifter, ready to make you feel like you're on a baja punching a sequential. Forget about the flappers use the stick. 😍
Seriously! Back is upshift, forward is downshift, VERY few manufacturers get this right!
@@fakename287 They think of it geometrically they don't account for the G forces, when you brake you lean forward therefore it's easier to bump the shifter forwards same when accelerating you get pushed in the seat so it's easier to pull on the shifter. But they seem oblivious to it....

I’m sure someone already mentioned it, but you can turn the led day time running lights off in the sett8ngs so only the top and bottom led strips are on. They headlights are set to on from factory.

Miles per gallon update...
I took delivery on my 2022 TRX November 2021.
1st 1,000 miles...13.3 mpg.
2nd 1,000 miles...14.5 mpg.
Just broke 3,000 miles this week and I am getting 15.6 mpg.
Auto mode 95% of time...
Highway miles, 55-63 mph.
I took my first road trip last week...170 miles out and 170 miles back, all highway, auto mode, 68-74 mph and riding it hard.
Surprisingly high mpg...IMO

I bought the first raptor 10 years ago, and I still think the new raptors look better than the TRX, but damn is that dodge a good looking truck, and the 700hp really has me hoping that Ford puts the gt500 motor in the next raptor

As I get older I find the my range is more and more limited by my bladder, and 3 hours about does it, so 300 km+ is OK. The price of refilling the tank might keep me from using it for cross country trips, though.

10:15 that must be a pre-production version because the production one does NOT come with 6 wheels. It comes with empty wheel rack with the wheel on the bottom and the dealer (or buyer) has to remove wheel from bottom and set it up on the rack themselves.
I real truck with a V8. Unlike the Raptor with a V6. If I wanted a V6 I’d get a Tacoma.

Please compare both TRX and Raptor for overall weight, front/rear weight bias, front/rear suspension travel and test on an off-road test track to insure a legitimate comparison! Include a fuel economy rate during these tests as well
Chrysler needs to come out with a new mid-engine version of the Viper that uses the Hellcat motor. It would be epic!

Supercharged viper v10 front engine easily over 1000 hp .. They launch like crazy... Make it all-wheel-drive and around 1200 hp

@@EpicB Here in Germany people would buy sleepers, BUT some people have quite the taste in cars. I can guarantee you my friend, these big trucks are so freaking useless in Germany and I also live in a very small town, but I've seen a RAM (a simple 1500, but I'm not sure, but clearly not a hellcat), Hummers, I've seen a F-150, some Savara-type-shit Jeep, and these as regular cars.
But still if I had the money and the opportunity to get freaking maxed out Hellcat, sedan or truck, I would buy it and hardly face and deal with the consequences haha.
@@redim777 I'm from Canada as the Straight Pipes guys are, and the kinds of cars we get here are mostly the same as in the US. I'm not in a rush to get my license because I live right by the train and multiple buses. And my parents haven't owned a car in years until recently when my mom got one.

Apparently it’s called the TRX because Ram forgot to name the concept and had to randomly pick a name they already had the copyright to last minute. After they showed the concept as the TRX everyone thought it meant T-Rex and so Ram just went with it.

I've got a 17 Raptor, would trade it for a TRX in a heartbeat. Ecoboost and the 10 speed has been a disappointing powertrain, rest of the truck is good though
i disagree. The ecoboost, though it sounds like 💩, has good power and gets up really quick. The transmission shifts too hard in sport mode though. Gotta get a tune if you wanna fix that.
