- The NEW TRX takes truck performance to a new level and Ram is not messing around. Under the hood is a 6.2L supercharged V8 that pumps out 702HP & is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. On the outside you will find extra wide fender flares, functional hood scoop, 18in off road wheels, and slash cut exhaust. As an owner of both, I can say without a doubt the trx is in a league of its own. It really is phenomenal. Puts the raptor to shame. One is a sport truck the other is a Supersports truck

I got a ram 1500 bighorn and it’s definitely nothing compared to a higher trim ram but I absolutely love the comfort, space and interior/exterior look. Ram without a doubt has the best trucks atm

Great review! REALLY appreciate how in-depth you get on both the exterior and interior. IMO, the ultimate compliment for an automobile insofar as eliciting genuine emotion when driving: seeing you (or others) go into a giddy, prolonged laughter (and it was funny to watch BTW) while launching/driving a HEAVY beast of a truck, and having it perform quicker to 60MPH than most sports cars. INCREDIBLE performance, and HANDS DOWN it's easily one of the most handsome trucks I've ever seen. Now I want one lol.

@@RaitisRides i wouldn't suggest doing big jumps with one though. i've already watch someone that got their first trx do that and it got a great deal of damage. but for driving it on a 4x4 beach it'll do very well. it looks like it even out does the trailboss silverado.

Totally agree. I left a comment myself and mentioned how giddy he was, which was GREAT to watch. Just how much fun he was having in the field sold me on wanting one. (And it also just happens to be a VERY burly, handsome truck, so that helps lol)

Wow, this truck is a PURE MONSTER. 702-hp goodness from the Hellcat engine under the hood, and it's one of the best sounding trucks ever made. I love this so much. My favorite part of this is that the illustration of the "T-Rex eating the Raptor dead" on its air box because this part makes this truck more cooler. I know that looks like from the ending scene of Jurassic Park! Then, another favorite is that it has heated and ventilated seats on both front and back seats for a 702-horsepower off-road truck even though both heated and ventilated seats won't help save weight because I am a huge fan of ventilated seats, and despite the fact I'm living in San Diego, which is very hot every summer, I necessarily need ventilated seats for more comfort and to beat the heat. Well in my opinion, I think I'm fine if this truck doesn't have a sunroof (whether it's standard or panoramic) because if it has a sunroof, it's acceleration won't be as quick. That truck is tough. It's one of my favorite trucks of all-time. I can't wait to see this badass truck at the 2021 LA Auto Show on November but I don't think LA Auto Show will allow us to get access to the interior of this truck.
Even my classmate's dad has this truck. He bought it like back at the end of February of maybe on March, and I heard my classmate answered my Economics teacher's question asking what is the biggest thing we had bought. Well, he said his dad bought this truck! I'm really surprised that he's too rich. He drives a C219 Mercedes-Benz CLS 550, while his sister drives a pre-facelift second generation Lincoln MKZ. The zonks about this truck are that it has a weak gas mileage. 10 in the city and 14 in the highway. And lastly, it's not reliable. But that doesn't mean I should never buy this. Picked mine up a few weeks ago, it's easily my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. I have had a lot of cool vehicles, tuned diesels, ford lightning, ram SRT-10, audi's, Z06, Viper ACR...etc. If I could only have one vehicle for the rest of my life it would absolutely be the TRX. Great job RAM!!

Thinking of ordering the TRX engine cover and using it to replace the lid on my street side trash can. Looks like it's about the right size. At the very least I can get Raiti to say, "Hey, your trash can lid looks like an engine cover!" instead of the other way around. 8:45

Ram & Ford did an awesome job with these new trucks! Fingers crossed that the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 will have 700+ horsepower, and the interior is on par with Ram & Ford. GM should use the supercharged 6.2L LT5 that produces 755 hp & 715 lb-ft for the ZR2, it’s used in the Camaro. Great review Joe 👍
