    Her husband was exasperated as hell at the end when he yelled from his seat. You can tell the plaintiff is unwilling to accept advice or criticism about her business or business acumen in any capacity. She was always listening to respond instead of understand and had she attached a contract to one of the 100+ emails she exchanged with the defendant's company, she would have saved herself a huge headache. It's gross as hell that the defendants took advantage of the situation and thought they could weasel out of paying her anything, and I'm glad the judge shamed them. They're scuzzy as hell. But ultimately, the onus was on the plaintiff to set clear guidelines with a contract and she doesn't seem willing to hear that from anyone.

    My sister-in-law is a Virtual Assistant and she builds out these kinds of email blasts. She does a lot of work with all kinds of forms and social media platforms, and what she does is super complicated! It's worth every penny to the businesses that she works for, but it isn't cheap. And she NEVER does any work without a written contract in place. Discovery calls are for that purpose specifically...to build a CONTRACT. This woman is very unwise to be doing any virtual work without a contract.

    @Blueeyedjenn14 ปีที่แล้ว +27

    She’s a bad business woman and if she had filed ALL her proper evidence (ie: those emails requesting more email blasts) she could have gotten more. BUT SHE FAILED at that as well. The plaintiff should take this as a learning experience and get her shhhTT together and have written proposals and contracts. And if you have a verbal conversation that deviates from the original agreement/contract ALWAYS FOLLOW UP IN EMAIL stating just to confirm what we spoke about (you want XYZ which will be at this rate, paid at this time for a total of abc) and have them reply to that email in writing just to CYA. This lady is her own worst enemy. And sadly in marketing she’s actually underpaying herself unless her marketing list of potential leads is that small where she only charges $100 … sorry to say it seems she sucks at business- her being nice as the defendant says she is doesn’t mean squat.

And basically he was drinking coffee while reading a newspaper and so I walked up to the front desk and I said “hey can I pay you for your services” and he said “sure” but he wouldn’t give me a receipt”. Most legitimate business-generated emails go to their existing client list. Email marketers who spam to unknown recipients pay a price - literally - and are shut down by the email generation company. If you receive emails you don’t recognize, report them via the unsubscribe option in the email or in the “report spam” function in your mail system.

They went to my old house, contacted me on my phone and social media profiles with numerous numbers and fake accounts, reached out to old clients, all sorts of things. He created this mythos where I was at the center of the FBI/CIA trying to unalive him, I was "sponsored" (Idk?) by some random lawyer across the country, connected to some political movement, and ran some criminal organization.

    typical of judge milian.
    the defendant said that the judge didn’t notice he did not approve some emails. that’s because the judge doesn’t let the litigants finish talking.
    the defendant is right, there was no written contract.

    Always get everything in writing! That's what they should have done, and plus the woman's (Plaintiff) calculations were off. I have a feeling she's tough to get along with from the look she gave when her husband told her to be quiet.
