Looks easy when it's all clean at the perfect height. It's not even rusted or dirty! How many times has that bushing been pushed in & out of that same trailing arm?
I recently done this trailing arm bush on a crv , leave the arm on the car just undo the trailing arm bushes bolts , and 2x2 bit of wood to lower the rear end down enough for the bush to come out, then just tap it out with a hammer and your trolley jack handle. Takes 30seconds to knock it out , and less than hour half the whole job done per side
With this tool, you can install the TA bushing without putting dents on the TA cup or the trailing arm itself..It’s your preference if you want to do a clean professional job..
@@pellergin If a gear puller can damage the arm, this can too. Besides all that, for less money you can go to harbor freight and buy a straight up shop press and do the job with that and have a press you can use for many other jobs. Not just one. If your going to take the trailing arm out anyway just to use this tool a press would be much easier.

Set the new bushing on dry ice before installing. Slips right in.

Gear puller, steel pipe section for the press cup... cut costs by more than half and don't end up with another tool that barely gets used.
