For anyone who thinks that Sam is a Tesla apologist and 100% diehard, here he is stating that he’d rather have a Chinese EV super sedan over a Model S Plaid. It just shows me that the man likes what he likes. Keep the videos coming, my friend.

That’s one of the many nice features of EV technology. ICE vehicles with 1,200 hp would normally be a handful to drive in normal day to day situations. Not so with something like the 001FR, where the power is infinitely variable and all served up in a very comfortable and practical package. And it looks great too.

Yes the definition of fast; is limited to very short range. Le Mans the manufactures championship is a 24 hour race where the winners exceed 5000 kms. The day a BEV can even manage 4000km in 24 hours will be a landmark, today; they might be able to manage 2500 km in 24 hours an average speed of about 50 mph. Amazing speed. Faster charging times may narrow the gap but BEVs can't sustain high speeds due to overheating, another hurdle that will be some time to fix.

You probably forgot Nio's 150kWh swapable battery. Their cars can drive easily 200+km/h, a swap only needs 5 min.
Let's assume, every 270km = 85min you do a swap within 5min, so to say 270km in 90min, so you can drive at least 1440min/90min*270km=4320km in 24hours.
If you optimize the swap for racing conditions (without autonomous parking, but drive-through), even more will be possible.
Hey, Nio, why not giving it a try with your ET5?

This is a electric car channel. China made the best EVs. What do you expect him to say?

@@foodparadise5792 Indeed. My wife and I have a Volvo v60 and v90cc, last year I switched my v60 to zeekr 001…man…I won't drive any combustion cars anymore…
It feels like Nokia to Android phones.😂 Especially the voice control…

One of the best-looking cars. What a joke. They all look the same. I thought the purpose of EVs was to save the planet, not outcompete the biggest muscle car on the planet. That much torque will shred the tyres and destroy the road surface. Still make the most of it because governments will not only bring in pay per mile but a tax on your car's power. They need to fund all the infrastructure upgrades somehow you know.
