Going with Delicious Tuning is such a good call. I’ve been running their E-tune on my WRX for the past year and it’s been a night and day difference from any other tune I’ve had
I had a similar issue. I wasn’t satisfied with my Dyno protune, my car felt like it ran far from perfect car would bog afr was off and car made me feel like I couldn’t drive manual for some reason. Went with an etune and the difference was night and day , now car runs strong and feels healthier than it did with the other tune.
Dude, even I could tell by the start up that the car runs better. That's too bad the other tune didn't work out but I've always heard good things about Delicious tuning. Glad you're finally able to get it up and running, and SAFE which is what's most important.
For real! As soon as it turned over it was immediately better, it is what it is. Not sure what the issue was before but the car is mechanically sound and delicious has been killing it 🙌
Sorry about the rain. Last week before rained appeared, even in my area. I wish for heavy rain. After i did, it rained for almost a week. Glad its by you too :)

Just gotta say when I first got my Subaru everyone told me to go to phatbotti tuning but I went with delicious and I’ve been with them since! Bob and nazar are absolutely awesome and e tunes are spot on

I highly recommend the FBM walbo 485 fuel pump kit when you go e85. The cars power in fuel flex is amazing and I love it. When you get near 400hp in the hp the car is a missile. The best part about ecutek is you can have multiple maps vs map switching so you can run around at wastegate and you can also have a high map. You will find yourself drive the brz more than the sti when it's finally done. I promise! James Martin was my tuner for the turbo brz.
I did an etune from Phatbotti on my 2016 WRX. Car felt way smoother than stock, I maintain more consistent/higher boost etc etc. He also set my idle at 900RPM so I didn’t think 1000RPM for your BRZ was strange at all. I understand it is for smoother NVH.
Unfortunate but lesson learned, just happy that the car is actually running right again. No more random check engine lights, no more power loss and smoother AFRs 🙌
E-Tuning is typically best when you dont have someone who knows the platform well locally. Not surprised the car is running better with the delicious tune! been here before myself
Smeedia had my car dyno tuned locally. It was ok but much like your experience it wasnt great. Etune completely transformed the car. Enjoy your new tune!

Ive been running my iaTuning e-tune for over two years on my Legacy and its been great. At the end of the day, e-tuning doesn’t require taking up the tuners physical/shop, there’s no one looking over the tuners shoulders, and there’s a ton more time and less pressure for the tuner to get things dialed in. Show me a dyno tuner that will use literal hours of combined logs, tens of WOT pulls, and use 10+ revisions for the cost of even the most expensive e-tune. If you can handle making any needed physical adjustments there’s no reason not to go e-tune. Just my two cents!

I was pretty impressed their base map had you running immediately better than your pro tune. Did you hear something about them that wanted you to go with Delicious?
So the stalling when coming to a stop was completely tune related? Did you notice your fuel trims going wack with the previous tune? Facing the same issues and I'm suspecting the tune.
@@Smeedia still waiting on parts before I pull it out. Its got a large coolant leak from the water pump, and some smaller oil leaks so I'm not driving it until I get it sealed. Going to replace every seal and hose on it, timing belt kit, head gaskets with arp studs, mostly maintenance. Hopefully I get it done this month.
Finally a proper tuner doing maf/injector scaling accordingly in closed loop section.. (idle, cruise, low load sub 5psi driving) Then only full power pull log... Actually what the log need in closed loop is not exact 12mins..(or exact time specific) they just need consistent cruise in closed loop operation as flat road as possible... 8-20min in agreeable standard of good log size...data for getting a pretty accurate scaling Like if someone cut u off the lane or u need to stop, just stop the log, and restart a new log when resume back to set speed... And u can send them that multiple log...they will scale based on each log accordingly.. no issue...on that
Thats what I ended up doing, had 2-3 causing logs to send over to make sure they had what they needed, been awesome so far! Car feels so much smoother and runs a lot cleaner that before. 🙏😁

Ask your tuner if the will take multiple gear pull log as well (to refine if as good as possible) -1st gear wot pull (3k rpm to redline) -2nd gear wot pull (3k rpm to redline) And repeat untill 4th and probably even 5th gear if the road and traffic allows (probably not untill redline to make it safe) *Or if u able to find mustang dyno or hub dyno rent rate decently for an hour or two (ask the tuner first which would be his preference on dyno vs road pull)
Unfortunately can't get on a dyno right now, but thats how he has it set up is I need specific gear pulls from 2K-redline They emailed over like an 18 page PDF document with how to set everything up and the specifics for what's needed

@@Smeedia lag, sure it made 320kw but it spooled at 4k for what i want to do that is way too late. plus on the street having nothing until 4k sucked. The ball bearing 20g should get me to 300kw still so i am happy to trade 20kw for 1000rpm spool
Hey dude, I've been considering going e-tune for a while now. I'm on motor number 3 and I'm starting to think its my tuner, his attitude had been really bad and well 3 motors later its time for change. So I'm based in South Africa, do you know if delicious tuning will be able to help out? Finding good tuners in SA is damn near impossible, I have a 2009 STI Hatch that been swapped from EJ25 to EJ20, everything on the car is basically custom so idk if e-tuning will be possible. Advice or suggestions would really really be appreciated, thanks. As for why everything is custom comes down to cost believe it or not. Its much much cheaper to have a fab shop do induction pipes, exhaust, etc. Because of import fees on parts from the US and the painful exchange rate it ends up costing between 150%-300% more that the parts price, also 6 months+ for most parts to arrive is rough.
I would shoot Delicious an email and see what they say, I think they should be able to without any issue but I can't confirm on that. After 3 motors I would think something would be up with the tune 🤔

Yes they told me to drive it and get cruising logs 🙏 and the vents have been just fine, no issues at all 😁😁

I was gonna go 2860 but after having seen your vids I will opt for the 28r journal turbo. It's a street daily driver not gonna track it at all.
The journal bearing turbos are a good option for street driven cars. Pretty much all I've used 🔥😁

Was 100% in the tune, since swapping the the new map the car has had 0 issues. Fuel trims use to be all over the place

For lighting i would always always suggest sticking with OEM lighting. And for the hood, VIS racing is always my go to 🙌
