- Ever wondered which lower control arm you should buy for your FRS/BRZ? Here's a little comparison video between the PBM and Cusco lower control arms, hope you guys enjoy the vlog!

The blue rubber at the end of the nut is used as a locking method so it doesn’t loosen up for whatever reason
... Nylon lock nut... Why don't "car" ppl know these thing? The nylon is not always blue. Guess you need to be more into R/C cars to know these things....
I've got the Cusco arms on my FRS, too. They're a couple years old and the spherical joints are still silent. Definitely admire the quality.

Kaz just so your aware, airlift offers extended strut mounts for this issue for free. I literally just got mine in the mail a couple days ago. I’ve got voodoo13 LCA’s and ran into this issue.

Good review, these screw style lca are a pain in the ass to adjust unless you grind or cut excess off of the rear subframe, you can weld in top supports and you'll have a higher range of adjustments

I stripped my upper control arm nut because I got confused which way to remove the nut.
a buddy with a bagged frs said he swapped the rears for wrx struts to get rid of the clunking... i would look into it.
Nice video, trying to solidify the conclusion to the install. It seems you ended up in the same position being you had to lower the sleeve position just to sit flush once again, leaving you with the same lift. From prior experience, it's solely the sleeve bag limiting your lift. Ironically PBM is the only company I know that offers bellow bags in the rear for FRS/BRZ. I run PBM lower control arms as well and just ordered their air struts. We'll see if rear lift is an issue, if it is, a double bellow will have to be used to allow better lift at lower pressures. Always give companies a call before shelling out cash for an issue they may have put the R&D in already. I love airlift, I'm just not a fan of the sleeves. They could've put some time in getting bellows out back. I'll try to get a vid up after the install.

lowering your BRZ/FRS/ 86 for mainly looks is not worth sacrificing some handling or ride quality, but to each his own
