this is the most coherent video ive seen on this so far! I've tried this about 8 times now and each time it either doesn't solidify or it cracks or the tapioca doesn't get cooked. I don't have a steamer and so have tried cooking in pots and also the oven with a tray of water.....would you know what I'm doing wrong?? It looks so simple x_x !!
This is so good dude, When I was little and still lived in Thailand for 8 years (im in America now), I literally asked to get these every single time I went to the food market sale things and literally this was the only reason I went there. I'm going to try to make this, but i'm not sure if I can find all of the ingridients in America.

I love Kanom Chan. This was one of my favorite desserts that I used to get when I was little and would visit Thailand. (My mom is Thai). We are excited to try this recipe. How does this store for if we refrigerate it.?

If you don't have panda leaves or panda extract can we still make it? What is the measurement for panda extract. By the way, I love you cooking channel alot.
That is a very small matter, add in some pandan extract as each brand taste and the aroma is different !

I just cooked Kanom Chan following your recipe. It looks so good. It is still very hot. I am going to cut it when it is cooler .

Thanks so much for doing such a great job showing us how to cook many delicious Thai food. What I like the most is that your recipe has been tried and adjusted so that those who follow your recipe will get a good result as you do. I have tried many recipes such as those by a famous Thai blogger who has lived in Florida. I was misled by her photo taking skills. I don´t think that she has been honest and sincere like you in terms of cooking and recipes because the results were not as good as I had expected. When you want a different color how do you achieve the pandan flavor without using the pandan juice?
where did you get the coconut milk, what brand is it or did you make the the coconut milk yourself? Where I live, there is no real coconut milk.
As I have understood it, both Tapioca starch and Arrowroot starch are used as thickeners so why do you need to use both?
To make the kuih texture much better. By the way, Tapioca starch and Arrowroot starch are used as thickeners at times but both are the ingredients of many cakes, cookies, kuih of Asian.
