I love your channel! I'm half Thai and grew up on these desserts, but it's really hard to find recipes for them. These really take me back to my childhood! Thank you so much!
I only speak English and a couple other languages, but you speaking in two makes me feel somewhat comfortable. It reminds me how my parents speak and I don't know why I love it so much.
I’ve always wanted to try Khanom Chan after seeing some ASMRists try it. Today I followed your recipe and it turned out perfect. Thank you so much for sharing the recipe 😘
This is my ultimate favorite ...I cannot get this right no matter how many times I make it..I gave up....the only thing I can make right is khanom mo kaeng....I love what you do...thank you 🙏🙏🙏
Always wanted to make this! It is so helpful you gave the measurements in cups and that you taught how to make it in Thai and English! Thank you so muc!h!!
This is so good dude, When I was little and still lived in Thailand for 8 years (im in America now), I literally asked to get these every single time I went to the food market sale things and literally this was the only reason I went there. I'm going to try to make this, but i'm not sure if I can find all of the ingridients in America.
this is the most coherent video ive seen on this so far! I've tried this about 8 times now and each time it either doesn't solidify or it cracks or the tapioca doesn't get cooked. I don't have a steamer and so have tried cooking in pots and also the oven with a tray of water.....would you know what I'm doing wrong?? It looks so simple x_x !!
เห็นแล้วรู้สึกอยากจะกินขนมชั้นในทันทีเลยครับ (after i have seen this really want to go out and take some , right now) ไปแล้วก็อยากกิน ข้าวเกรียนกรอบ ด้วย (and want to ate some Brown crispy Sticky Rich as well. )
I love Kanom Chan. This was one of my favorite desserts that I used to get when I was little and would visit Thailand. (My mom is Thai). We are excited to try this recipe. How does this store for if we refrigerate it.?
What kind of rice flour do u use? There are 2 different kind.... please post a picture of the bag of flour so maybe I can find it at the store. Thank you for your recipe.
How do u extract the juice from the pandan leave? You forgot to show the step. Do I just leave the pandan leaves soak in water or pound it together or blend/in food processor?
Johanna Joslyn Kanom Chan also tasted so delicious. Two foreigners who have never tried this dessert in their lives liked it as well. Each ate 2-3 pieces. Thanks so much for doing such a great job showing us how to cook many delicious Thai food. What I like the most is that your recipe has been tried and adjusted so that those who follow your recipe will get a good result as you do. I have tried many recipes such as those by a famous Thai blogger who has lived in Florida. I was misled by her photo taking skills. I don´t think that she has been honest and sincere like you in terms of cooking and recipes because the results were not as good as I had expected. Thanks so much for your kindness and responsibility.
Hi, i love your channel. Ive made this recipe but i have some bubble on the top of my steamed layer cake. Can you tell me what's wrong? I use an electric steamer. Thanks

To make the kuih texture much better. By the way, Tapioca starch and Arrowroot starch are used as thickeners at times but both are the ingredients of many cakes, cookies, kuih of Asian.
+Sophie Lau-Lopez What kind of Asian stores did you go to? Did you try Chinese or Thai? If you still can't find one, I think you might wanna to buy one online.
สวัดดีค่ะ :) I was wondering if it would be possible for me to reduce the amount of sugar in one of my favourite desserts. I am diabetic but would love to see if I can reduce the amount to a 3rd or 4th of what is in the original recipe. Would it have an impact on the consistency (e.g. too liquid)? Thank you very much in advance/ ขอบคุณมากค่ะ :)
