I started applying Christine Byers face fascia massage to my routine and man, what a powerful, completely free tool. I almost felt silly that I'd never taught to do it before. We take for granted that all wrinkles are from "just age" but it makes sense that holding tension in the face can create folds with reduced circulation, creating more lines than we might have if we'd have more blood flow. I realized how powerful these techniques were after doing a bit too much when I started out and actually experienced a bit of a detox, with a headache, sore gums and some tiny breakout. I reduced it to 5 min of fascia release a few times a week and that worked wonders with not detox symptoms. I would do it before my skincare and notice when I went into work people comment on how "refreshed" I looked. I haven't told them my secret yet :))
I came to the same conclusion, Clare! 😃 Thank you for your insights and your informative and honest videos! I am 59 years old and after all those years of trying every skincare in the world I am finally reducing it now! Reduce to the Max is my new motto. Greetings from Germany😍
Totally echo your sentiments - simple is best! I love my Skin Gym Face Scupltor roller - it relieves so much facial tension and improves circulation. I think we may see the tide turn to simpler, pared down skin care routines in future.
Hello, I’m writing to you from Colombia. I admire your work and have learned a lot from your channel❤. Recently, I underwent a collagen stimulator treatment called Harmonyca, combined with good nutrition and a disciplined skincare routine. The results have been remarkable, noticeably improving the appearance of my skin. I believe a topic like this would be a great addition to your channel
I’ve heard of it so it’s great to hear you’re happy with your results. I’ll add it to my ideas list. Thank you and thanks too for supporting the channel 🥰
I use the face roller the Osmosis Epic . Also a weighted tool does the same thing as yours . I have been using it for a few years and do it until my face flushes.
Yes, you must massage your nose because as we age for some really weird reason our now tends to grow as we age, we've all seen it in "older" people, but if you massage your nose I believe you can mitigate that to a great degree. At least that's what I've noticed. Been massaging my nose for years now and I think it works.
Hi Claire, Christa from South Africa - at 52 i'm also using a red light device, microcurrent and a face roller - i have many devices, but try to pair one led with one microcurrent device for one night and next time pair another, on and off - the roller relaxes the skin for better led and current after use. Love your channel!! Would love if you can have a chat with an expert on rebounding - very beneficial for the lymph sys 7:13 tem.
Brilliant, thanks for sharing, Clare. I have used a Jade roller & Gua sha in the past but for whatever reason I just didn't stick to a routine for longer than a few weeks so I gave them away. The metal roller you use here really does look lovely - it's a bit more expensive but I reckon if I bought it, I'd have more incentive to use it because of the price! I do agree that massage can help with anti-ageing and give a 'glow' to the skin....and it is obviously working for you. 🥰
I had a jade roller at one point too and didn't use it for long either. There's something about the way the 4 rollers hug and manipulate your skin that I find very satisfying. Great that you can take it anywhere too! Always good to see your name pop up! 🥰
Love your channel and I was wondering if you noticed Tret gave you more wrinkles and that’s why you switched to Retinal? I don’t know if I’m paranoid or what - it feels like with Tret it’s as though I have more wrinkles, even though I’m hydrating a lot so my skin is not dry. I’d love a video about why you transitioned back to retinal (I started Dermatica as I was really inspired by your informative videos). Thank you. ❤
So glad you enjoy the channel! I will make a note to do something around retinal and why I switched back. I thought using tret for nearly a year did help smooth out my fine lines but I was inspired to switch by a doctor who recommended stepping down from tret once you get the benefits because she believed the less potent retinoids help maintain those results without the downsides. Certainly seems to be the case for me. Tret did dry my skin too which I don’t miss.
@@thehonestchannel thank you very much, maybe i'll consider switching back, for now i've been on Dermatica for one month at 0.5 and asked them to lower it to 0.025 for the next month. I may follow suit - commit for one year and then switch to Retinal. Keep up all your informative content, it's v helpful and definitely influences my skincare approach! And yes for sure looking forward to your video regarding how/why you changed back to Retinal xx
Hi all 👋 o tried microneedling after i watched the video about Qure, so i bought some. Anyways after 6 treatments, im over the moon with how my skin has reacted. Its definitely feels more plump and less sagging on my 58 yr old skin. I was reslly, REALLY impressed! So i have just reordered and got a bargain with buy 4 treatments and got snother 4 free 👏 i also took the plunge and bought Calecim multi action cream, plus their growth factor serum. So i think this roller will be the perfect device with which to use it. Im hoping i see really good results. But i can definitely recommend QURE 👍💯🤩🏴🇬🇧
Hi Claire, iv got my husband to order this roller for xmas , im so excited to get it , im hoping to sculpt the jaw area a bit as at 55 im just starting to get slight laxity there ( jowls ) i do use an led mask and derma roller so thiss will be added to those simple anti aging routines ...it looks amazing the way it grips the skin xx
Really hope you enjoy using the roller and see a benefit. I'm a big believer in getting blood flowing to the skin in any way we can but also including improving muscular strength. I'll do a vid on this in the new year but I think these are excellent exercises to try out.. th-cam.com/video/GFE8qfwN23U/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for doing a review.. it looks like it just came out on the market. Do you think the 111 face roller would work well for glabellar line and forehead wrinkles ? Thanks
A roller will help keep skin in good health (IMO) and can help tone your skin and slow sagging and wrinkle formation, but I don't think it would make a big impact on deeper wrinkles. Sorry to say. Laser treatments would be a better option there - again, just my opinion.
I use those little stickers I buy on Amazon Smoothies. I wear them every night and for me they have almost completely erased my deep 11 lines. It has taken a few months though . They must be used consistently. I reuse one sticker 4-5 times it's possible if you wipe iff the cream where you apply it
My view is that maintaining or improving volume naturally has to be a multi-factor approach including diet, exercise, sleep, hormone health, and a skincare routine that is designed to support skin health, including the microbiome. Beyond that you have things like biostimulator injections or Profhilo but I don’t use a lot of clinical interventions personally. My Tweakments Guide interview would give a good steer on clinical options.
I recently found that apparently if you’re using prescription grade Tret - you shouldn’t be using LED red light therapy. Have you heard of this? So it’s definitely the roller for me like you suggest!
I’d definitely seen advice saying not to apply retinoids before a red light session as they will increase sensitivity but not a blanket ban on using red light if you apply tret. Where did you see that advice and I’ll check it out?
@@thehonestchannel Hot n Flashy mentioned it in one of her videos - she emailed Omnilux and they said if you're using prescription Tret especially in the higher dose - there's a 20% risk of irritation and counterproductive results. I actually bought an LED mask but ended up returning it for that reason...not sure if that was the right call now
@@olga_b344 Very interesting. Will be tricky finding a good expert to discuss this but I’ll do my best as I think it warrants further exploration. I might even try Omnilux. Thanks for flagging.
