Excellent interview, thanks for doing it. Rarely we have seen Mr Wallenberg in public interview or share his view. Very clearly a visionary and long term thinking showing which is the reason of the game changing impact his foundations is having for Sweden and worldwide. Thanks Nicolai for doing this podcast, recently I discovered this series and since then hooked and seen most back to back. Wealth of learning and education. Thanks for doing it ! Keep going 👍
What a great interview! As a fellow swede, it was extremely interesting to get some thoughts and facts from Wallenberg himself! Please keep doing these, great work!
Marcus talks without buzzwords, without trying to be smart. He is calm, honest, and wise, all the virtues of a leader. If only we had a political class of the same caliber then society could have been so much more prosperous and stable. Thanks for sharing this interview.
@@ugo2voNo, not monarchy-what I’m talking about is responsible business leadership. There’s a significant difference between the two. Monarchy represents a hereditary system of governance, often removed from the broader accountability structures and democratic principles we have today. In contrast, responsible business leadership is grounded in ethical stewardship, transparency, and the ability to inspire trust through consistent, rational decision-making. Leaders in business are accountable not just to shareholders but also to employees, customers, and society at large. The kind of leadership I refer to involves foresight, integrity, and humility-qualities that many of the best business leaders embody. These leaders listen to experts, collaborate, and ensure the long-term sustainability of their organizations and the communities they impact. Unlike monarchs who rule by birthright, these leaders gain authority through merit, responsibility, and service to others. Business leaders like this also understand that stability and prosperity are built on innovation, fairness, and the ability to adapt to changing times. If we had a political class that mirrored this kind of leadership, societies could indeed be more prosperous and stable. It’s about accountability, ethics, and leading by example, which are principles that apply not just to the business world but to politics and governance as well. Leadership today should inspire and empower, not dominate or control, which is far from the traditional idea of monarchy.

@@ugo2voThe King of Sweden has almost no real power.
You don’t even know what power the wallenberg’s hold in sweden. A podcast doesn’t say everything about a person.

An issue might be something that should not have been said😅🤔. Sure, intetesting stuff here, I am youtuber and investor too. Hälsningar från 🇸🇪
@@nordicexpat We have not taken out any of Wallenberg's answers. It's just a re-edit of the intro, that's all :)
Brilliant interview! Keep it going.
