    great interview, gotta say as a norwegian i didnt really know anything about Nicolai other than grumbling news about how he was hired, and if it was the right choice. But seeing this after youtube randomly put it up on my front page, feels like the fund is in safe hands

    This is amazing!! How lucky are Norwegians??
    I live in Greece, one of the most corrupted countries in EU.
    What Greece has is a huge debt (almost 2 times the GDP), corrupted politicians and a terrible money culture, which all create poverty.
    Believe me Norwegians, you are really blessed!!!!!

      We've had some pretty great politicians for most of our recent stint of existance. Obviously they've made mistakes, and I don't agree with everybody, but in general they've been pretty decent to great.
      Also, this is fueled by us actually paying our taxes. ;)

    A prediction for 2024. Norway will give money, I mean really big amounts, from its oil fund to countries in the EU. Ukraine is already getting a lot of money. They will continue to do so in the future.

    • @basslinejunkie2776
      @basslinejunkie2776 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      that's not going to happen. you will need a referendum to go beyond the 3% we take from this fond a year. and very few Norwegian will give away their pension to EU countries. specially since we are a member of the EU. if a politician does this without a referendum they will be crucified

      @@basslinejunkie2776 many seem to get the "3%"rule a bit wrong. Just for clarification. The ruling government is only allowed to withdraw 3% of the interrests/dividents. They never touch the money that has been put in.
      2/3 or the revenues put in to the fund, comes from the fund itself

    My friend, worship God, not money. We understand from Psalm 33 and Jeremiah that God will preserve only those who revere Him and pray to the LORD. These are the end times as we see and hear worldwide diseases, famines, wars, and death are all coming to destroy the peace of people everywhere. (1) Repent from your sins( in thought, word, and deed)and receive the Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. (2) Jesus commands in Mark 16:16- The person who believes and is water baptized is saved: the person who believes not is condemned. (3) Join a bible based church and obey as the leaders help you. Read the new testament of the bible daily.(4) Pray to the Lord and begin a relationship with Him. Please share.

      To believe in the biggest fairytale book ever made, tells us a lot.
      We that live in North of Europe let that book be closed. Churches are more empty than full. It seems that we believe in life.
