How is it possible ??? February 2024: He explains why Northvolt, with its 6,500 employees, is better than the competition and how it will succeed. November 2024: 8 months later, Northvolt, which was supposed to be Europe's leading battery manufacturer, is unable to produce quality batteries, potential customers go elsewhere, the company goes bankrupt, the boss resigns, ... I've never seen anything like this in just 8 months. What's the problem? This guy?
Hearing this once again when NV has filed bankruptcy, it's very inspiring somehow. Would be great if Peter is willing to come back and make a follow-up episode someday. 8 years, tens of billions of Euros, a lot of talks, no product, not even a functioning factory. What went wrong? Does Europe want its own battery industry too much or not enough? Or both? Did Peter just capture and ride on the waves of geo-political conflicts? His follower in Norway Freyr might end up in a better position after merging with Trina in the US.
GOAT
I agree with ppl here. Amazing content and free. Thank you 🙏
This dude keeps interrupting
He's short bonds and is running up uncertainties to the retail crowd to help his position. Same as everyone else. At least he sells a good homely narrative wrapped around it though.
Everything he said/discussed sounded like common sense tbh. If you believe that he is wrong, take a position opposite of what he is doing. Take his money from him and go do the interviews afterwards to explain how and why you were better than he was. That's basically the market/super investor cycle.
As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. I do have a significant amount of capital that is required to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make over $400k like some people are this season.
To tackle investment risks, the safest approach is to diversify across various asset classes, such as bonds, real estate, and international stocks, to minimize the impact of a market meltdown. Seeking expert guidance is essential.
Many people underestimate the value of advisers until they experience burnout. After a challenging divorce a few summers ago, I sought out a highly qualified licensed advisor. Her guidance has been invaluable in keeping my company afloat and thriving, despite inflation.
how can I participate in this? I sincerely aspire to establish a secure financlal future and am eager to participate. Who is the driving force behind your succedss??
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’ Carol Vivian Constable” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
She appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran a Google search on her name and came across her website; thank you for sharing.
Griffin a garbage Trump and Musk will send him into jail
8:30 - how long rates rise .. 10-yr can go to nominal gdp ; inflation to 4.5%, real growth @3% = 10-yr at 6 or 7 [ if inflation up and economy not weakening ] .. 12:00 top engineering grads shifting from crypto to Ai .. 15:38 - Memorial Sloan Kettering cancer apps .. 25:20 - i always measure from the top ..
A lot of hot air. Impressive that he made it so far.
Very informative CEO
What a podcast
I think he is criminal. "Ehhh ehhh eehhh eeeehhh eeeeehhhh eeeeeeeeeeeehhhh eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhh eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhh". Northvolt had many employees killed, no salery while he earn 20 million dollars. Anyway a very bad human in my opinion, lack of moral. Fraud.
Oliver Blume should be fired. He is responsible for thousands of german families losing their jobs !!!!!
Excellent interview. Magnus seemed so engaged, and I think a big part of that was the questions asked - deep questions, but one’s targeting specific, complicated aspects of *playing chess*, something Magnus has ruminated about for his entire life. Seeing him try to express his thoughts and explore them in real time is fascinating.
The awkward laugh to his question at 0:30 😅
Massive thanks to Nicolai and the team for hosting this conversation, truly epic
He is not rude.He never allows interviwee to digress from topic. He is my role model .I love his podcast
When it comes to biotechnology in Europe, the company that came to my mind is BioNTech, which became a household name during the COViD-19 crisis. Does Norges Bank own its shares? Do you have a plan to interview BioNTech?
This man is a genius and comes up with some really plausible thinking and has a solid track record. My view is the specialist is going to die and everyone will become a generalist. The only negative is it will end up being the governments problem to support all those out of work.
Thanks a lot, Nicolai! I think there is nothing i could read to learn so much so quickly. Maybe you let us listen to the competition across the river soon...
Big Druck
Dear Nicolai, can we have Warren Buffett on the podcast? Anyhow! I would love to see you having conversation with Charlie Munger, unfortunately that's not possible. God bless his soul. 🤲
Great episode!
A very enlightening conversation.

Looking forward hearing more from Thomas about Healthcare and futurecare 🤗💫👌
Absolute gem of an interview
The quality of the podcast guests is super high and so are the questions! Love the podcast. Keep it up!
Two impressive men who respect each other, having an stimulating conversation. Not often I see Magnus enjoying an interview, this was such a treat!
Sooooooo inspiring; great people, so clever...
Excellent interview, thank you! And Subrscribed.
This guy ken griffin is a thief, he's Bernie madoff 2.0. He steals money from every day retail investors also he benefits when companies goes bankrupt. KEN YOUR DAYS WILL COME SOON OR LATER🖕🏾
Another great episode 🙌
Excellent.
One thing I got from this is that he is so focused on chess i.e. he is unidimensional. Maybe that is what it takes to be great!!
It’s fascinating to see Marc argue private market efficiency versus public market efficiency. As time goes on (US markets mature) it becomes increasingly apparent that regulation almost always results in a lower ~net externality balance~ than less regulation. This perspective from Marc can be magnified to the broader US government and used as gospel for economic reconstruction based of first principles thinking. This is the way.
This guy must have the golden touch! Everything he touches turns into a winner. Give me a break. They act like they are genius. Come on. You must have some losers.
He manages 2 trillion????!!! Did I hear that right??
Light work for nicolai 🥱
@@The_Uncertainity_Principal 😇☺🥲
He worked as a chef and russian translator. He did outcompete old Prygoshin from Wagner fame!
This is an AMAZING interview. A must watch for anyone who trades
If interest rates don’t move, what other federal regulations can increase inflation? Printing money or giving free money? 😅
This man is top tier
Brilliant visionary. Love and learn so much from his content.
Fascinating video, thank you for sharing.
Rowan for Tresh Sec
Is he trying to signal with the polar bear tie?
What a gem
Best podcast on you tube , no nonsense, to the point, the moderator doesn't allow interviwee to digress from topic.great and awesome
thanks
They should make a movie about that trade of the pound . They did it a movie about « the big short » didn’t they?
