Very nice.... Tobad you didn't know who made the headers. Outstanding video, music was little louder than your voice at times, but excellent excellent video. I will be subscribing to you. And thank you
Hey man, I’m looking to install one of those uel headers on my ‘01 Forester also. Do you have an oil cooler installed on your car? If so, any issues fitting the header around the oil cooler/filter and specially the coolant line coming from the bottom of the water pump?
Gowdaflow I don't have an oil cooler on mine and no issues for water pump clearance as long as you get uel for an n/a 2.5 motor I believe With oil cooler my Forester connects under the radiator.
I have a 2000 forester 2.5 L and I cannot find a UEL header any where. Please tell me where I can get one I’m about to sell my ride just because of this reason
Right now the shortage is effing everything up. You look on eBay the crappy cheap ones are selling for almost 1k. And some are charging 10k for shipping. Also due to the epa screwing with everything
Good video but could’ve done it better with better aiming of the camera, no music in the background cuz I couldn’t even hear you, it was too dark and you didn’t do any sound clips for the after besides the little rev
CDXX Im so glad I could help. There really isn't too much help on older Foresters. How far along is your build. Mine are all made for auto cross. Pretty much sti suspension
C.AveMedia I had to replace the motor, the original motor blew on me on 1/1/19 not a good way to start lol, but my build so far isn’t too complete. I have a while to go, I have some UEL headers coming in and a Magnaflo muffler to weld on. I’m planning to give it slightly bigger tires to make it for rally.
C.AveMedia good stuff man! Did you have any problems with the headers hitting the oil pan? And also I’ve heard some people say that the oil cooler sometimes has to get deleted, did you have any of those problems?
Alex Montenegro well on my forester there is no oil cooler otherwise you would have to delete that. And no problem with oil pan. Other than that no problems direct fit
Music was hella loud my guy, good video tho
What camera are you using? Are you running an otherwise stock exhaust and cat?
Camera I don’t remember could’ve been an iPhone. And exhaust is an eBay wrx catback that was modified for my car

Alex Montenegro I have an L as well. But I’ve put in some work into it. Mine was mad dusty. Some things were falling apart
