  • There are a lot of videos out there showing the Tsudo N1 exhaust on their Imprezas but it’s really tough to find an actual install video, so we decided to make one! Previous Owner had replaced the exhaust in the past, but still with something near factory. My son wanted an upgrade and went with the Tsudo N1. It’s an easy install with minimal tools required. There’s definitely a “best way” for installation order, though.
UPDATE 2/19/24: I forgot to include this when I made the video. One thing we ended up doing about a month after this install was buying a slightly longer isolator for the rear most mount (the one in the video we had to cut through to remove) because we worried that it was putting too much strain on the muffler. If you have that issue, the isolator is really cheap (see part below).
    Parts and tools:
    • Tsudo N1 exhaust kit: semotors.com/tsudo-98-05-impr...
    • 14mm socket/wrench
    • 12mm socket/wrench
    • 9/16” socket/wrench
    • WD-40 to lubricate the hanger bushings if needed
    • Longer exhaust isolator amzn.to/49bOFEt

Just bought the same exhaust for my silverthrone metallic 2000 2.5rs sedan. This video is very good and gives me confidence to install!

I too was worried that it would be a real pain, especially since my Jeep TJ was a bit of a challenge. This was pleasantly not the case on the Subaru!

Yes! It's definitely on his list of 'next thing to do.'
He's all about new headers but help me out - I'm a Jeep guy new to the JDM/Suby world. What will new headers do for him? Especially with the non-turbo 2.5 RS?
      Thanks for watching, Darry.

@@raizuee That’s exactly what he said and new headers have now been ordered. Expect a video once they come in. :)
