Have an 02 NA forester and can’t find an UEL header anywhere. Anyone have a reference place to find one plus any recommendations for a new exhaust set up?
HAHA yes! Please do, I'm always bugging the guys here to bring in more GC and even GD N/A parts, but they just call me old and tell me to get back in front of the camera LOL. Thanks, Rick
SuperJulian357 on this specific part, it’s a 2 bolt flange to the cat pipe angled downwards.2006 year model and above have a 3 bolt flange to the cat-pipe that angle upwards. If you’re looking to go UEL, I would say find a Tsudo replica header or find a 02-07 wrx/STI header setup, however you’ll need to do some fabrication for it.
lol.. EL literally makes zero difference on a 160hp na subaru. That's exactly like saying a K&N air intake is going to give you massive gains on a stock car. Do your own research instead of repeating what you hear on forums
@@nomeru_0 these cars with minor bolts ons it doesn’t as much, maybe a couple more hp up top, but on the BRZ the ACE 350 EL header made around 10 peak whp more up top, while also increasing 33 more ft lbs of torque at lower RPM’s over a Tomei UEL, which is an incredibly popular header for the BRZ’s. People always say UEL’s mean more low end torque for n/a vehicles when it’s clearly not the case…
@@sleeper.simulant7327 Neither header design is going to give you any difference in power on a stock motor, not nearly enough noticable to justify the price anyway.. People with NAs are choosing a header based off sound because thats the only legitimate difference thats noticeable. Unless you are planning to build your motor, than buying a performance header with the sole expectation of gaining HP is about as useless as throwing a cold air intake on your car. If you're doing it for sound well than go at it because it will make a massive difference and that should be more of a deciding factor on your NA motor.
@@nomeru_0 on the BRZ it makes a difference but the fa20 is a very different engine then a n/a ej25. Still I don’t see the point of UEL’s, sounds like a misfire to me, and the fact that the longer runners on one bank equates to higher levels of back pressure and temperatures on said bank doesn’t exactly seem good for long term longevity on a daily driver
Gee what a shame this part is no longer available from you guys due to it being DISCONTINUED

Ebay bro , also fits the 1999-2003 legacy, and the 2005 Impreza rs2.5, since they are the exact same motors
"we got you covered" but its discontinued now. So can we complain again? Where's the NA GC stuff bruh!

when is it coming back
@@rallysportdirect I wanna get some headers for my 2001 Legacy GT Limited.. so I am also someone requesting more stock!
I have the Tsudo full exhaust for my 2.5ts which includes basically this exact header. I love it!
Sound example please
Sad they discontinued this header
NA still king
Will these UEL headers clear/fit around the oil cooler/filter and line coming from the bottom of the water pump on an automatic ‘01 Forester 2.5L??
It should, but I always recommend some type of heat management for the header just to make sure the heat stays where it needs to :)
Thanks,
Rick
Will my forester still be smog legal after this? Weird that wasn’t mentioned
As long as you keep the cats it should be fine
Will this work on a 2006 Impreza NA
If each head has two exhaust ports, yes.
Will this fit on my EJ253 non turbo Forester?
Any of these out for a 2006 n/a forester

Parker Tugaw coo thanks for the response 👍
Make UELs for the 15-19 Legacy and OB...
If I switch to uneven headers. Do I need to get the engine tuned for it or is it just a change and play?
A tune would be highly recommended, but is not 100% required.
Thanks,
Rick
When will you sell single port?
If n/a guys really want “more power” they would go with a set of EL’s to get those max gains

I have a 98 Legacy GT as a toy now if you want to do an install video HMU
Will these fit a vase model 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.5i. Non turbo?
This one will not, but I know Borla does make one specific for the 06 2.5i, however do do not sell it at the moment.
Thanks,
Rick
@@rallysportdirect could you possibly link those Borla UELs for the '06 NA Impreza? I couldn't find them
