Thanks for the nice comment by the way!
Please tell me where I can get a UEL header for my 2000 forester 2.5 liter, I’ve been looking on eBay, Amazon, carid and I can’t find ANYTHING. I bought the forester JUST for the rumble and I’m about to sell it just for this reason. I’ll fu**ing cash app you money if you can help me out
What's your budget? And do your stock headers look like my stock headers? If so 1320 sells uel headers that'll fit but is a bit pricey. Says it'll fit EJ251 on a Baja which is pretty identical to my Outback and your Forester

@@Cepyy916 I checked the (does it fit your vehicle) and it says it won’t fit my forester???
@@Cepyy916 dam there about 340 after delivery…. You weren’t kidding
@@cliftonsargent1572 yea, but the Baja is identical to my outback and most likely your forester. The main difference would be how they routed the exhust after the cat which wouldn't matter because you are changing the headers before the cat. So it should fit. I'll look some more tho see if I can find cheaper ones.
@@Cepyy916 I can’t thank you enough
2.5i
Definitely sounds better if you delete your muffler..
cheapie headers, open up the holes and using a bare jack on metal tubes.. you're asking for problems. both flanges should slide in and loosely test fitting both sides at the same time. wd40, displaces water and is a terrible penetrating fluid. it's nice to see anyone still turning wrenches but a lot to learn here. back in the day, we didn't need to rtv on top of exhaust gaskets. just get a quality soft metal gasket and you're gtg and for god sake, use a torque wrench on everything
The WD-40 was just for visual, im in california so no rust for me, and the headers were only 97 dollars I wasn't gonna put anymore effort making them fit nice, also I didn't purchase new gaskets so I had to use the include ones and they are garbage so that's the point of the red rtv. And yes of course always use a torque wrench. I agree with that.
lmao i hope you got it tuned for those headers otherwise your going to be getting a lot of unnecessary knock
Eh, I've run them for over a year now and I've monitored everything was normal, I don't see how it would cause knock tbh, let me know tho, im curious
N/a
*gets wd40 in eyes*
What do you mean? I had my saftey squints on
NEVER wear safetyglasses. Your eyes are NOT important !
Did you need to tune
Would these fit in a 3rd gen legacy with the ej201 engine?
Go to inferno fabrications they sell a lot of em
