    Almost an entire year has gone by since I learnt how to wheelie which is insane, a lot of you have seen me progress from when I first ever attempted to wheelie my MT-07
    Some of you might remember my "How to Wheelie Your Motorcycle (MT-07)" video which did extremely well, I've progressed a lot since then and wanted to make an update, so here it is!
    Please be extremely careful when learning to wheelie, wear all the protective gear, most importantly a decent helmet!

    I'm actually really scared with the clutch thing because when I'm clutching in an give too much gas the bike will throw itself in the sky and I can't do anything.

    Just subscribed and love your tutorial as I’ve always wanted to learn but I live in a country with messed up roads. I just wanted to ask is it easier to tap the brake before giving it revs and releasing the clutch, would it help getting the front up?

    Is your bike you are using here the restricted model? I have the restricted LA model in Australia and at 7000-8000rpm I haven't been able to get the front wheel off the ground. Although after watching I am guessing maybe I am taking to long to let the clutch out? Should I literally be letting it out without slowing it at all right after I pull the throttle to 8k?

  • @fands9
    @fands9 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Just curious... Over the course of learning how to wheelie, have you had any issues with your chain or sprockets?

    • @ReevyMotovlogs
      @ReevyMotovlogs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Never had an issue, I did have an o ring perish and had my chain and sprockets replaced a few days ago but that was due to riding through winter and the o ring was kinda messed up to begin with, other than that I did about 14,000 miles on the stock change including wheelies and it was still fine, I just wanted to get a nice new clean one :)

    Damn it was the crash bars? Shit I'm just gonna stick to my old motto of "my fairings are my sliders" because at least the plastic absorbs a bit of the crushing force. Its never fun to break bones underneath your own bike, speaking from experience. Hope he gets back on 2 wheels soon👊

      sorry, forgot to say that I am talking about the 2 gear Wheelie :)

    • @ReevyMotovlogs
      @ReevyMotovlogs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2nd gear I don't really pull as much since when you dump the clutch there's enough power to lift the wheel off the ground, with 3rd gear you have to pull up slightly to get the wheel up.

    I know I’m 2 years late I probably won’t get a reply but how should I be seated when I’m doing a wheelie because I tend to sit really close due to fear of falling

    • @ReevyMotovlogs
      @ReevyMotovlogs  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It’s all personal preference once you get the hang of it, when I was starting out I would try to sit as far back as possible to lift the bike easier.
      Once you practice that over and over, eventually you will be able to sit however you like and just pop it up like it’s nothing.
      Keep practicing man, cover the rear brake, stay safe and have fun! ❤️
