  • Hey everyone! Here are my thoughts on what the Best Swampert Team to use in Hoenn is! Please keep in mind that this video is entirely opinion based. If you want to make changes to this team please do! At the end of the day it is your team to playthrough with and enjoy as you wish! I am also excluding legendary Pokemon, Trade Evolutions, and Version exclusives from this video. Let me know if you like this team or have suggestions for a better team to use in Emerald, Ruby, or Sapphire. Thanks for watching!

    Also please consider getting a blue snowball and then eventually upgrading to a blue yeti.

    This is a very great Swampert team and similar to how I would approach with only a few changes for personal reasons. One of them is Absol > Slaking and while I acknowledge the latters stats, I just dont have the patience for it's Traunt ability and Absols impeccable moveset is one I cannot pass over. If I need something tanky, I'd opt for Camerupt as he also supports Swamperts grass weakness with fire. With that said, it all depends on whos playing and Slaking is a great choice for those who know how to use him.

    Awesome team! You just got a new sub. BTW, just a reminder, Swampert can actually solo hoenn due to the fact there are only 3 grass types he has to worry about: Your rival's starter, and Sydney's Caturne and Shiftry. It's actually a one-Pokemon army in this region.

      @OaksLab848  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Swampert is easily the best pick in my opinion for that reason exactly! Sidneys Shiftry doesn’t even have a grass type move lol. Such a fantastic typing for RSE

      Personally for Manectric I go with Bite, Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave and Strength. For Aron, well I'm assuming you're talking about it's final stage Aggron correct? I'd go with Iron Tail, Rock Tomb, Earthquake and Iron Defence.

    I had a emerald safe and even in level 35 my golbat wouldnt evolve

    • @OaksLab848
      @OaksLab848  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you give Golbat the soothe bell held item you can increase its friendship faster. You can get this in the Pokémon fan club building in Slateport. You’ll need to show a NPC a Pokémon you already have high friendship with (starter Pokémon is good probably). Otherwise just keep it in your party and eventually it will evolve. Good luck

      @GothamKili 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@OaksLab848 I mostly agree with you but you can just leave it in the box for some fire areas and since there is so much water in horny the true grass typing still helps shroomish tough it out until it can use it. Or you just get one at the end and power grind it for a few in my opinion :)

      Why the hell would you keep Shroomish that long? I have never once ever considered keeping Shroomish long enough to get spore. Sure spore is OP, but it’s boring as hell. Maybe if you’re doing a extremely hard rom or challenge run. Anything else, just get better at the game dude.
