Matt and Tim, I just want to say THANK YOU!!!!! Your videos have helped me so much!! I'm a bass fisherman but since I dont have a boat (yet) I have to fish my rivers but your videos have allowed me to take the same lake concepts and apply them to my fisheries. I have went from being skunked every day here in Michigan during this fall transition to being able to identify where the bass are, what they are hungry for and how to get them on the hook! Your tip about making sudden movements with the bait to trigger a strike got me 6 bass in an hour after 2 hours of no bites USING THE SAME BAIT!! I can't say thank you enough!! If you're ever in southwest Michigan I'd love to just shake your hand and say thank you!!

Man have Matt & Tim upped my bass game! I am a completely different angler! After watching & listening to these guys for over the last couple of years I’ve learned so much vital information it’s rediculous. On everything bass fishing. After trying many of their suggested techniques I’ve been able to narrow them down to what I have confidence in. I never would have thought that I’d be slaying bass on swimjigs, underspins, tiny swimbaits and so on. I think I do every person huge favor when I get em to subscribe to Tactical Bassin. Even got my good buddy in Tennessee ( So Cal guy here ) to subscribe and he is benefiting hugely. Thanks again guys. I truly would not be the angler I am today with out Tactical Bassin. I am very grateful 🎣

Keeping the bar high! Excellent content as usual. I really appreciate the underwater footage. I expect it is more work than the seminar style footage (which is quite good and informative, don't stop!), but well worth it.
A common combination that I hope you will include at next opportunity is the Sworming Hornet / Super Fluke Jr. I expect it will fall into that "dead" or "do nothing" category. As you noted, it is effective and has been used successfully for many years. Seems especially so on the herring lakes. I recall you do not care for the light wire hook of the standard Sworming Hornet. Note that the saltwater version has a heavy wire hook. That has worked well for me. The Little Dipper from Reaction Innovations is also an effective trailer option. One other thing to consider when rigging paddle tail baits: flip it over and rig it "upside down" as a means to reduce the lift produced by that style bait. Works well for chatterbaits too when I am trying to keep the bait deeper without changing to a heavier head.

Very helpful especially for guys new to using underspins. The underwater footage was very helpful. I fish Folsom Lake in CA and was working it recently for transition bass. I did well with a ZMAN TRD up in the river arms imitating shad they were feeding on. I’m going to give the Matt Allen underpin a try as I think it will also match the shad in my lake. If anyone has a tip for Folsom in the fall, please feel free to reply. Thanks Matt and Tim! Keep those videos coming! You guys are the best 👍🏼

Matt I learned a valuable lesson the hard way this weekend. As a casual weekend fisherman with no boat I didn't really want to spend a lot of money on jerkbaits but I finally did. I bought 4 Lucky Craft pointers. You guys are always talking about changing out the hooks and split rings. I though man why? I have never had a problem so I put it off even though I have them. Well the first time I threw the pointer 100 on a local river I got bit. The next day I went back and within 5 mins I got bit again. It felt like I hit a big rock. Thud and stop. The bait was about 15 feet in front. Turns out it was a freaking giant. So heavy. I got it to shore keeping pressure on the line so it wouldn't shake the bait out. It didn't really shake it was just very heavy. Just as I bent down to grab it it came off and swam away. It might have been double digits. It would have been a PB largie for me. When I looked at my lure both trebles were bent out. WHY DIDN'T LISTEN????? :cry BTW, the color was Crack Black. It's awesome and I have since changed the split rings and hooks to Gamakatsu 2x EWG short shanks because that's what I had for my lipless baits. Lesson learned. Guys it will happen to you so change those hooks.

That coolbaits is legit. Caught my limit and culled some dinks with the 3/8 over the weekend in some rapidly cooling water. Only way I could get bit was drag a 3.75 and 2.75 inch rage swimmer. I grabbed it based on the reviews on tackle warehouse then 2 days later you guys have it on video.

Ordered about all of them. That screw lock (first one) isn't cheap for being by itself. Everything else came in 3 packs etc.
Out here in most of Oklahoma (OKC area) we have muddy bottom lakes and ponds. No sand....barely any rocks unless put there. We actually have a lot of lakes that have PVC structures in the water for fish.. Most of the videos I see have sandy bottoms and the water is pretty clean... I usually have to fight with algae green-brown water...or straight red mud water after a light rain for a few days. Going to try these out as the order came in today.
Today I couldn't get anything to bite on the spinners, chatters, jigs, jerks, etc. Then out of nowhere, I put on my cheapo little silver bomber (Walmart $2 special) and it was assassinating the bass almost every cast. Ended up losing it of course and saw the UPS man roll by.. Either way.. I have 7 lakes/ponds in my neighborhood with no shad etc. The bass pretty much hit anything....Looking forward to trying these underspins.

Matt, you and Tim should give what I've been doing with underspins this year to hurt the Susquehanna smallies for the last 3 weeks a shot!: I've been clipping my underspins to smaller jig spinner forms with bigger #4-5 hammered french blades switched in; the french blade calls in the wolf packs while the smaller jig spinner form keeps it a nice tight bait-ball package and the bigger river smallies have been just swallowing it whole when they're keyed in on baitfish!

Awesome guys! I like using an under spin in spring and fall but not a lot of luck on it in the summer here on Lake Cumberland. I have found a Strike King swim-n- shiner works pretty good on it too. I think bc it has a thin profile. I usually use the shad colors (grey/white) bc they are somewhat translucent for clear water. Give it a try

GREAT VIDEO! Love seeing what the baits I fish, and those I don't, do underwater and being fished. Matt Allen swimbait head is my favorite swimbait head with a 3.8 Keitech. Absolutely the best smallmouth catcher. I really liked that shiver shot shad and dimiki head in the water. Really cool action. I don't do much with underspins, but I think will try the spintrix, the 6th sense and hog farmer. I liked the action of all three and they weren't gaudy in the underwater footage. I primarily fish smallmouth, and they seem to prefer the more natural, smaller profile, baits. Appreciate the information you provide in your content. Topnotch...
