Been running the same tire on my capra for about 2 months and wouldn't use anything different

I run the proline km3 in G8 compound and they work great. They weren't offered in predator compound when I got mine or I would have got it. Usually can't go wrong with proline tires!

Proline uses a double bead. Tricked me up the first time I mounted some. Those go together similarly to the Gmade SR
Those are really grippy at least on craggy dry concrete. I’m curious on wet performance though given the more scale tread pattern. Might be good to keep really soft foams in it to let them contort. It’s still side hilling well. Maybe try the Landmine stock foams in them as they are slightly more firm than the Proline stock foams before changing to dual stage
I have used them on my Capra and they seem to do well in the wet conditions
I have a pair of aluminium three piece bead lock wheels by xspeed bad ass looks great.
..cant fit a tire on them!!! So friggin pissed lol
Truck is looking and performing great!
I alternate between these and hyrax. I'll be doing a test video soon to show the difference on my test rock

Just ordered a set for my new TRX-4 79 Bronco. Gonna paint the lettering white for scale realism. Kind of nervous about mounting the beadlocks to the tires but it's all been a learning experience from the get go. Thanks for posting review!

could you test the proline 1.9 boggers next? they are in the g8 compound but they have a massive 5.5 inch diameter as opposed to the regular 4.7/4.8 inch diameter you get with the flat irons etc.. And I think they would do nicely on your capra as although they are tall - they shouldn't upset its balance like the 2.2 tires you tried on it where you had to extend the wheelbase to make it work.
also: I watched your video where you said you had difficulties with the rockbeast XL tires in their predator compound due to their unique grip style that doesn't quite hook up the way you wanted them to and I was wondering if you would test out the rockbeast XOR as they have a very different 3D tread patter (alot like the pattern on the jconcept landmines but with more lug spacing like the klrm) and they are a little shorter to help with your center of gravity (they do make up for the lack in vertical clearence with their width so they might be a good choice for the superlite).
love your work and can't wait to see how the KM3 tires stack up to all the other tires!

i comped both this and the superlite today op3 got the win on time, superlite won with only 1 gate where I got 2 with op3, both are insanely awesome trucks

Joe my brother? Those rims are nice ,aren’t they. I really like those myself. That just raised Opt-3 a notch or 2. And those Tyres will really get soft after break in I’d say. The deflection looked almost perfect . 👍 & I’m liking the double vid days ,btw

I ran a set of them on my trx4 bronco and after about 3 runs on them they became so soft and gripped like crazy. They are some great tires

I'm looking to get a TRACTION HOBBY FOUNDER 2 and I want to install a Titan 775 motor along with a evx2. I specifically want to know the the pinion to spur ratio that best fits this type of rig

hey joe its shane, how was the comp today? I wanted to come out but i guess i picked up a nail in my tire on my car the other day cause I had a flat when I went to jump in the car and it being so far away I didnt think I should push my luck and just fill it w air and pray lol. You doing any crawling out at your place tomm? I need some practice and to test a few changes and things for the next comp.
Flatiron XL, is an epic set of tires!!! The best part is. The faster you spin them, the more traction your going to get!!!
