Belle, you are lovely for sharing all of your tips! I've been an avid bread baker, but im just getting started again on fresh milled flour after years off and never having been good with fresh whole wheat. I believe I can do this now AND it taste good too!
Making your tortillas now! Question…how Iong can I wait between the pre-cook on the press and the actual cook in the skillet? Does it have to be fairly immediate or can it wait an hour or so in between?
They’re all-clad pans with pfoa-free non stick material…honestly not sure what that means but thank you for bringing this to my attention! I can easily switch to my cast irons
Hi Monique, I just noticed that I now need to sign up for a company, Grow Account, in order to print your recipes. Will they bombard me with emails and is it necessary going forward? TY
It’s a new mediavine feature for you all to get emails when I upload new recipes. But I’m going to deactivate that feature I don’t want you all to be forced to put in an email to print! Edit: just fixed it
@@Lovelybellbakes Thank you! I appreciate you! Excited to try this recipe! I have been making tortillas for years, but they are just not very soft. I have a feeling I will be permanently switching over to yours! 😉
@@maureenpat64 you’re welcome Maureen! I will likely update the recipe and remove the baking powder. I forgot the baking powder today and they came out wonderfully! I noticed no difference.
@@Lovelybellbakes I made your tortillas tonight and like I suspected, they are a keeper! I didn't add the baking powder like you suggested. They were soft and bendable. Husband gave them two thumbs up! 👍👍

My pleasure! So happy to hear that you enjoyed them.
Very helpful video. My husband wants more this week.
They’re so good. My kids like eating them plain.
Your tortillas are lovely! I've never heard of baking soda only baking powder😮
Did I say baking soda? 🤦🏾♀️ it is baking powder.
So very helpful! Thank you!
My pleasure!
Nice explanation! Great tips, thanks.

You are so enjoyable!! Thank you !
Thank you!
Your method is genius; I can’t wait to try it. Do you make English Muffins with freshly milled wheat? ❤
Yes I do! I’ll be posting more recipes!
Can you freeze the tortilla after you press on the electric press? Then thaw & cook? Thank you! God bless!
Yes! And you actually don’t have to thaw them. They cook great from frozen.
Definitely going to try! Love your videos!
Thank you!

It can certainly wait an hour or so.
U da bestest!
What kind of coating is on your pans? I thought non-stick was toxic at that temperature.

Hello Bell, can you tell me which brand do you use for the electric tortilla maker?
