You are such a breath of fresh air! You are one of the few people who share their recipes in both weight and volume measurements. I much prefer weight measurements and appreciate this so much! I will be baking this this weekend.
Monique, I made your cinnamon swirl bread and had to make it twice before I had success. I have an Ank and I am still learning how to use it. The bread is absolutely delicious and using the egg is priceless. God bless you and your family Monique and I pray that your channel grows expeditiously in Jesus’ name!
I’ve watched all your videos and I must say they are a pleasure to watch. Your info on each recipe is very clear and easy to understand. I’ve watched how you go through the process of the recipe. It’s very evident you have a lot skill and knowledge of bread baking that is behind these videos. I look forward to seeing more. I wish you a blessed day and will be watching for future videos. Thank you.
I am so thankful that I found you on TH-cam! It is hard to find good videos for freshly milled wheat. Thank you for the great videos! You explain things well and inspire me to try more things with freshly milled wheat. Thank you!
I just love your videos. They are so clear and your recipes work wonderfully. My children are now 13, 11, 9, 5.5, and 2.5...i wore them all. Seeing the sweet head of your baby is a joy. Precious years.
This looks like a great recipe. Your bread turned out beautiful. Thank you for the excellent tutorial video on how to make it. I'm definitely going to try making your recipe. Keep the video's coming.
Thank you! I'll be trying this version of cinnamon raisin bread. I made a loaf today from another recipe and while it's turned out good, I'm going to try your recipe to see if we can get it better!
@@debbysummitt7117 your words are such an encouragement to me! Thank you! Im just sharing the gifts and talents that the Lord has given me. I’m so happy to be able to teach what I know 💙
I’m going to try this recipe. Thank you for the tip with the egg on the inside because I have had gaps in my bread like you said, and couldn’t figure out how to keep it from happening.
Hi there, I am a new subscriber. I received a grain mill for Christmas and love it!! Thank you for sharing your recipe. I have found in the few month's that I have been baking fresh milled grains, that hydrating the flour is very important. There is a big difference in the crumb of the bread. Your cinnamon swirl raisin bread looks delicious. I cool my bread on its side as well. I always used a baby carrier too when our children were young. God bless you!😊❤🥰
Hi! Thank you for joining me on your fresh milled flour journey! Yes, having the proper hydration is key with fresh milled flour. And I just greatly cherish this time when my children are small babies. God bless you as well💙
This is beautiful! I’m wondering if this can be made with sourdough? I do sourdough bc I have a hard time tolerating gluten. Can this be done/adjusted for sourdough? If so, how? Can I use honey instead of sugar?
You can use honey for the dough but not for the filling. I have a sourdough sandwich bread recipe on my channel. I would use that recipe and add the filling to it.
I am excited to try this if you can send me the recipe. I do have a question why do you let the let the dough rest before adding the yeast? Thank you so much.
Thank you for another great recipe that I am excited to try! Just a quick question. You mentioned laying your pan on its side while cooling. Can you share what the purpose is? Thanks again!
@@Lovelybellbakes I found it! Thank you for sharing and the labor of love you pour into your fresh milled grain recipes. You should consider writing a cookbook!
I have made three loaves of this recipe so far. Taste wise, they were all delicious (I told hubby, these are mine!). I am doing the egg wash but I can’t seem to get a tight roll. The bread comes out all gappy except for the ends. What am I doing wrong? Any tips to get this tighter, to hold together better? I just researched your video, perhaps I need a baby strapped to me! Any suggestions appreciated.
just thought I’d let you know, I was just looking at your recipe for the Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread on your web page and noticed that you are missing three ingredients from what was posted on this TH-cam page. You are missing, salt, yeast, and the raisins.
I have tried your recipe 2x. My problem is that it rises above the swirl and leaves a huge hole or gap right below the top crust. What am I doing wrong?! It tastes wonderful but we eat it in pieces! Help please!
It sounds like it’s possibly over proofing. Shorten the second rise. And also if you ever se any bubble forming on top of the loaf, poke it with a toothpick to deflate it.

You can use honey for the dough but not for the filling. I have a sourdough sandwich bread recipe on my channel. I would use that recipe and add the filling to it.
What do i use in the filling besides the egg wash?
You can mix 2 teaspoons of fresh milled flour with the cinnamon before sprinkle the cinnamon. And make sure you roll the dough tight!
Can the raisins be left out without altering the other ingredients? I think they would just be an add-in.
Absolutely.
I am excited to try this if you can send me the recipe. I do have a question why do you let the let the dough rest before adding the yeast? Thank you so much.
The full written recipe is in the video description. The rest is to allow the flour to absorb the liquid and begin to develop gluten.
That little head is precious
Thank you 💙
Thank you for another great recipe that I am excited to try! Just a quick question. You mentioned laying your pan on its side while cooling. Can you share what the purpose is? Thanks again!
Sometimes after removing it from the pan I lay the loaf on its side when the sides look like they’re going to sink in.
@@Lovelybellbakes Gotcha, thanks for that tip!
What can i use instead of eggs in the loaf, I'm dairyfree
You can use 7g of sunflower lecithin or just omit all together
I would love to make this as I've loved your sandwich bread and rolls, but I cannot find the recipe in the description...?
When you open the description it says “recipe link ➡️” the link takes you to the printable/save-able recipe.

Hi! Hmmm 🤔 could it be that you’re over proofing the loaves?
@@Lovelybellbakes I’ll not proof as long and see if that helps. They are still so yummy. Thanks.

I’m sorry if you already answered this question but , did you use instant yeast or active dry yeast here in this video
No need to apologize. I used instant yeast.
Any suggestions for a substitute for the egg? One of my kids can’t eat egg yolks. Maybe just the egg whites?
Absolutely, the egg whites will do the trick.
Thank you! Excited to try it tomorrow. :)@@Lovelybellbakes

Yes, you can certainly triple it.
