Having a sniper that you can swap to and stun an overload with a single shot via chill clip is insane.
Unless it's an overload captain and it teleports 75 times before you can even ads on it. Then it tps behind you, says "it's nothing personal kid" and ends you

no joke cold steel and eager edge, you can close the gaps and tag them with slow, i've hit them with the vortex heavy right before they teleported and it stuns them still, just wherever they teleported to

I love the design of critical anomaly, it heavily reminds me of a borderlands 3 hyperion sniper
broooo I was trying to figure out what it reminds me of and this is exactly it. Similar to how still hunt reminds me of a Borderlands Jakobs rifle
facts it looks like those borderlands 3 weapons that looked like an alien made love to them

I didn't see it in the video, but if you are on prismatic and use facet of command then chill clip gets refill from reserves for free which kinda makes me feel like rewind rounds and recon are pointless to consider if for whatever reason you actually wanted an ammo dump with an aggressive frame
Commands new cooldown means you cant go super overboard, but its still good, +ruin for shatter damage

The adepts of these weapons can get multiple perks. If youre lucky, 3 for each column.
Therefore the super god roll is Reconstruction + Chill Clip / Headstone ÷ Chaos Reshaped. You can just stick to basic Recon + Chaos or have Recon for a bit, then switch to Chill Clip so youre overflowed so Chill Clip lasts super long.
I got mine with chillclip/rewind rounds/reconstruction and chaos reshaped/bait and switch/tripple tap.
I'd argue Rewind Rounds over Reconstruction. Mathematically speaking, you'll get more out of it.
@Drakrylos wdym you'll get more out of it? Rewind rounds has little synergy with Chill clip as you'd want the mag to be Overflow to get as much bang for your buck.
And I can't see how Rewind would fit Chaos better unless you want this gun out 24/7. Which you wouldn't want to do as Chaos can be procced whole stored.
@@OthersideSparrow In DPS scenarios _(assuming that, at some point, 72s and 90s get a damage buff, though tbh the following logic also applies to any DPS weapon),_ Rewind Rounds results in more total shots without reloading than Reconstruction, especially after being Enhanced. Not to mention that it will still work right out of the box after being reloaded, whereas with Reconstruction you'd have to wait a good while.
As for Chill Clip, if you paid attention to the possible rolls, you'd have noticed that it's not possible to roll it with Reconstruction nor Rewind Rounds, as all three perks share the same column. What you *can* get, however, is Triple Tap with it.
@Drakrylos for DPS, up to you on this option but tbh aggressive wouldn't really be a good option. Only rapid fire ones offer decent DPS if you have to do a special dps.
And I am aware that Recon + RR + Chill Clip are in the same column. Because adepts can have multiple perks, it is possible to have all 3 perks and thus you are able to hot swap to get the best of both worlds. My original posts mentions that this is the advantage that Adpets have.
i use chill clip and explosive on gm and it did good on stunning those champs😀and now its my favorite sniper.
Got 3 left before I can craft the sniper, got the pulse/smg/bow. The raid weapons are just so good.

If anyone remembers the disappointment that was the wild style double fire nightfall breech GL, it now gets reconstruction and bait / vorpal as of this episode. Undercurrent also now gets proximity and disorienting grenades
Chill clip also stuns overload champs. Hitscan no charge legendary champ stun is fire brother
This looks really handy for dealling with champions at a safe distance with chill clip. Make two; One for boss DPS, other for champs and tough ads.
I really need to get around to doing the raid. I keep procrastinating because of the 4th encounter.

Interesting perk combination is chill clip triple tap. You get 2 freezes and shatters because you get the 3 shots from the top of the mag and the 4th one reloaded from triple tap then procs another 50 slow stacks

it really does feel so good quickscope-stunning a teleporting Overload. some situations chill clip fusions just take the slightest bit too long to charge and they tp away, and/or the gun lacks range. i fuckin love this sniper which i was not expecting. pairs really well with Nullify aswell

Just a psa explosive payload counts as a secondary hit. Making it capable of fully reloading the gun with rewind rounds.
And is a damage buff. Solid roll

@@ianwall4663 i don’t use it for high DPS and most people only seem to care about those numbers because versatility is a hard to track metric that’s above most players skill levels. Only thing worse is hearing hunters complain that Bungie gives them no mobility tools because there’s a threaded spectre aspect that also uses your class ability so they pretend ascension doesn’t exist. Like when you call a person out on stream for it they sit there and make excuses how it’s better in PvP to have a shadow clone than it is to get amplified and nearly fly. Sure no mobility tools ever and when you point out it’s PvE use they sit there and use “But I main Trials” like the rest of the game doesn’t exist between the weekends.
It's no God roll but I got an adept with Flute/Hammer, TacMag/Accurized, Rewind/OpeningShot/KeepAway + Chaos Reshaped/BnS with a reload MW.
I've been having a ton of fun with Rewind + Chaos. Rewind always (well at least on 3-4 round mags) gives 2 back for 2 shots so as long as you don't miss that shot you'll keep shooting without reload. Opening or Keep Away seems like it could be fun in PvP though I probably want Snapshot on the 4th.
You gotta use it with the prismatic fragment that reloads it (unfortunately, it got nerfed, or I'd never need reloading) on freeze and that single fragment makes the chillclip/Chaos Reshaped roll have the dps/sustained and overall damage of any sniper(besides Whisper).
chill clip bns on prismatic will proc facet reload for all weapons. That's what I'll be crafting.
I am a sucker for 72 snipers, bite of the fox has been my favorite legendary weapon for the entire 2000 hours since I first got my hands on it. But critical anomaly is built different. It’s obscenely nice to use and has incredible perk combinations, the best 72 sniper to have ever been released
I’ve got the sword, bow and smg from the raid crafted and haven’t gotten a single sniper to drop yet🙂↕️

And to think it was even better for a short while before Facet of Command got beaten to death with the nerf stick. Literally was a legendary stasis Whisper of the Worm, but didnt need headshots. I already miss it so much
Can run strand or stasis for the same effect. There’s a fragment that reloads all your weapons when using a stasis melee, or when using a strand grenade. Sucks it doesn’t work on prismatic anymore tho. Could run hunter though and reload it for free after a dodge maybe?
@@hatchell18 But then it is just like any fucking weapon if you use a dodge, melee or shit like thay to reload. You still stop shooting and it makes the weapon like any other

@@thisone98 no it’s not because it’s sure a god tier weapon. That fragment was totally buffed it but they did over nerf it. Instead of an 11 second cooldown it should be 3-5 seconds tops. Problem solved.
@@hatchell18I agree. Similar Fragments and effects on other subclasses and things have about 3-5 second cooldown. It's odd the Command has such a harsh cooldown even though it's a copy of two other Fragments.

Current Whisper also doesn't need to be reloaded since it got buffed.
@@jacksoneustice once you run out of ammo you have to reload when you get more. Old whisper had infinite ammo and therefore (assuming the aim wasn't trash) never reloaded

For this sniper in pvp because it is an aggressive farm it is easy to finish kills if you body shot but still like defiance of Yasmin more.

For anyone trying to use a chillclip roll for shatter damage keep in mind you need to communicate that with your teammates first because if anyone else is doing shatter stuff you leech damage. Its the same way with stuff like dragons breath or witherhoard: only one person can take advantage of it at a time so you are literally throwing away damage if 2 of you are doing it.

I got a rewind, explosive roll and the the explosive shot counts as a shot so makes it mag dumpable also
So since we have reconstruction as a perk is it possible to have Invective and Ice Breaker? But i see the problem is thag rhey are special weapons but still it would ve cool to see worked out. In someway.
I don't have it so I can't test to confirm, but given how rewind rounds (RR) itself works (60% of hits rounded up get pulled from reserves, minimum 28.75% of the mag rounded up to trigger the perk), you should be able to shoot your entire reserves with no mag boost and non-enhanced RR, as long as you don't miss and don't shoot while the perk shows active.
If your magazine capacity is 3, and you get all 3 hits, 2 will be reloaded (3 * 0.6 = 1.8, rounded up to 2), and if you get those 2 hits, after the on screen buff goes away as hits while its there won't count, you should (need verification) also get 2 reloaded (0.6 * 2 = 1.2, but rounded up makes it 2).
Even with 1 in the mag though, 1 shot is 33% of the mag (exceeding the trigger requirement), and the 0.6 from one hit gets rounded up to 1 (again, needs verification), meaning you get your one shot reloaded every time you shoot it.
Again, this is all provided the rounded values are ALWAYS rounded up, you don't shoot while the perk shows active, and you don't miss any shots.
Imagine pairing this with Riptide and the new Linear Fusion that can also roll with chill clip and headstone on an osmiomancy warlock.

If you use rewind rounds with a mag of 3, you can fire your entire reserved as long as you don't miss like a baby whisper

It normaly takes 2 shots without explosive payload to freeze a enemy but because explosive payload gives to 2 damage numbers alongside 15% more weapon damage, atleast thats how it works with rewind rounds and explosive payload, you get your whole magazive back if you hit all your shots

Even though Chaos Reshaped seems like a pretty strong perk, my immediate issue is that it just takes *WAY* too long to activate, like Frenzy.
I'll probably just go for Triple Tap or Explosive Payload. I'm not looking to use this as a DPS weapon, rather utility.

The fact that Bungie didn't put chill clip in column 4 so we could do Reconstruction + Chill clip is the most pants on head thing they did since deciding prismatic titan was good to ship as is.

Bungie needs to remove flinch for snipers in PvE. Makes absolutely no sense to have the same amount of flinch as PvP.
Yeah, because they're bullets in PvP, whereas in PvE they are clearly tiny sponges and those don't cause flinch
"Remove" flinch is a option only thought up by those that can't snipe and therefore have no business using one. Reduce? Sure but removing is just not realistic. Even then there's alrdy ways to reduce it.
Unflinching mods exist. It's on the chest slot.
The flinch isn’t so bad that it makes the sniper unusable. Frustrating sure but I wouldn’t say that justifies flinch being reduced.
I'm being pedantic, but they don't actually have the same amount of flinch. PvE has massively reduced flinch compared to PvP. It would be nice to have another small decrease in flinch though for PvE.
Surprised you haven't given bastion a review since they pretty much gave it 1-2 punch and trench barrel

Was pretty hyped about this weapon for PvP and you don't even have footage and like an opinion on it other than 'sniper are not good right now , and you don't like the scope ' . Would have loved more insight of it in PvP and at least some footage like in other reviews about weapons.😢

not big into snipers, but i find it mid at best. sure its the first sniper with chill clip, my current sniper is recon recomb succession. its got ammo and dmg perk and the origin trait fine.
if i needed chill clip on a long range weapon, ill take wicked implement, its not chill clip, but close enough and it works. as for your pvp roll, theres other snipers with those pvp perks, bite of the fox, iron banner weapon. that was my sniper before succession and it worked just fine for pvp. same frame too, and not stuck behind a raid.
in the end, not worth chasing for that last 5% for me
