I just bought one used and the panels are ziptied with no bolts to unscrew. I need to charge it so do I have to cut the zip ties and replace them?? Please help! Thank you
Great stuff man! Def think a battery tilt mount would work better than the extra foam padding I put under one side of mine 😂 Fardriver controller placement is gonna be the next big question mark!
Most definitely once i get one made up ill let you know! Hopefully ill have some time to mess with it on my days off and see what i can come up with. But my ktm parts came in so im pretty excited to get the motor rebuilt 😆

Hey would you know of a place to get sprockets for t8f chains that fit the mototec wheels?? I wannna upgrade my chain and sprockets from 219h..
Unfortunately not, they would need to be custom made. A couple of people have been talking about making #35 sprockets but nothing yet. You could always get a t8f sprocket for a my1020 motor and file it out bigger to fit the mototec motor, but then youll have to get a custom rear sprocket from rebelgears or something.
Did you cut a sensor so the throttle doesn’t cut when you brake? Also I’ve noticed the battery life is significantly worse than when I got it 6 months ago.

When you buy the bike does it come with a battery in the bike or do you have to buy the battery separately
It does not come with a battery, you'll need a controller kit and a battery to get it rolling!
ok so hi i want to get a moto tec but im not ready to spend lots of money on just a controller from electro and co so do you have any recommendations to go faster on the stock moto tec 1500w?
Yeah just get a fardriver nd72300 directly from fardriver, email nick@far-driver.com then buy some connectors and wire it all up. I have a how to wire a fardriver vudeo on the channel! Id say your looking at around 200 bucks to double the speed and power of the stock mototec

Negative, battery, controller, and throttle are seperate.
ok one more question so is the moto tec the best budget option or is there any other mini e dirt bikes out there because im not going to spend lots on like say s surron or some thing so what im trying to say is there any other mini e dirt bike at this price range.

What’s the top speed stock
It comes as a rolling chassis top speed depends on what you do to it. Mines 72v at 100 amp discharge and can do 50+

As you can see in the video, its only a rolling chassis and the battery and controller needs to be purchased separately.

Not too sure, was supposed to be this week but i believe they are dealing with shipping delays. Keep your eyes peeled though should be any day now!

😆🤘 around 7-8kw is when the motor starts getting very hot. But word is the torque is pretty nuts.
@@EmxBrandon Right on you the man! Mine should be here within a week or so I'm going to run the Kelly KLSN torque controller and see how it does with it!
