    Just curious, why did you go with the Flipsky on this build vs Fardriver on your 2023 chassis? I was going to get the same throttle on this build but I ordered straight off your list from your last build. Which throttle you prefer? I can always return. Nick from Fardriver hooked me up with a few 72450 and dkd displays. Thanks for the links. Love the videos. Thanks

      Mainly because ive done a few fardriver builds already plus the many many ive helped with fardriver, and its time for something new! Vesc is making a huge wave and id like to jump on board and learn as much about them as i can. That way i can continue to help everyone through my vids. Flipsky just happens to be a cheap way to start of into this vesc adventure!
      And for the throttle, the one im using for this b1 build is the same throttle as the 23 model, it just has the fake carbon fiber housing instead of all black. So truly it should feel and be the same and its more just cause i liked how it looks!
      Nicks the man, the 72450 actually pairs great with the b1 motor! I still have my 450 in a box waiting for the next build.

    What voltage did you use to power that relay.
    12v or 72v

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  หลายเดือนก่อน

      12v! I used a 12v converter on a key switch to open up the contactor.

    Do you think the flipsky 75200 or fardriver 72450 is a better controller?

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Idk yet! Almost finished wiring the bike up so i should know here in the next week or so as i learn the controller and ride! I have high hopes for the flipsky.

      @@EmxBrandon Oh ok, I will check back in a week or two then. Also I left another comment about the waterproofing of razors. It seems you may have not seen it, so I will copy paste it here if you are fine with answering it.
      . I had a question about the waterproof/water resistance of the fardriver controller and the waterproof connectors. If you have it mounted in a a razor inside the battery box, and you have the fardriver with the waterproof connectors, are you able to ride through the rain without an issue? The battery I am getting has a water resistant metal case so I’d prefer to have everything water resistant. What do you think the best way is to make sure the razor is safe to ride through the rain?
      Thanks

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @schmeglyomigy6174 i wouldn't risk it to be honest, the battery covers on the razor are not water proof and if water does get in there it will sit in the battery tray and everywhere else with no way to dry out. Everything will be splash resistant, but definitely not waterproof. Even if it doesnt get in your battery or controller, it can still get in your throttle and switches. I don't recommend riding in the rain ever, unless your out and get stuck in it. And then id say find the closest cover and wait it out.

    • @schmeglyomigy6174
      @schmeglyomigy6174 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@EmxBrandon Ok I see what you mean, thanks. So would you say it is worth repinning my connectors and putting on those waterproof connectors you recommend? The connectors I currently have are just the basic vevor controller white connectors. I also would not purposely ride in rain, but I just wanted to make sure the bike would be fine if I got caught in some rain. Thanks

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @schmeglyomigy6174 yeah i really like the waterproof connectors, they definitely come in clutch for those situations where you do get caught in the rain! But yeah as long as the bike doesnt get completely drenched for long periods or completely submerged youll be good. Ive ran through deep muddy puddles and got caught in some rain a couple miles from home, ive even hosed my bikes down before. But i always make sure to dry everything off after and take the battery out to dry the tray so no water is left sitting.

    Whats top speed stock

    • @EmxBrandon
      @EmxBrandon  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Stock it only comes as a roller with a motor, so top speed is as fast as you can push it. You need to put a controller and battery in it. But on 72v 100 amp it is possible to do 50+
