    Wonderful work my friend, the watch looks very beautiful, in my opinion I think that a blue bezel of the same color as the dial would look better, but it is just my opinion, I do not detract from your fantastic work, it is a matter of taste. Thank you very much for your video, I leave you your well-deserved like.

    I just find my self mesmerised watching this kind of videos😊 but I can't have steady hands for that amount of time 😢 I would love to do this. I like your videos bcos although you know what your doing you still get small issues as you would but you fall with them all there's other videos that make it look too easy and professional which is not true as there's in my opinion always things to correct. Keep up the great work sir. 👍 😊

      @gunnerman1880 Thank you! You're right. Other videos make it look too easy, which isn't true. But even me, I cut many things, which I think are not very important. It's really time-consuming

    Hi, great work, I would recommend starting with 400grit and slowly increase 600, 800, 1200, 1500, 2000 then switch to a micromesh if you start your sanding with a higher grit it will take longer for the first sanding but then the progress will be quicker to polish it

    Lovely work. Not sure about the bright yellow strap. What about a nice subtle brown leather one?

      Very interesting colors - really like the idea, plus the way the light brown bezel fits just perfectly.. But the strap is too much for me. Yellow leather on the other hand, might look very good.

    7:37 what if there's still a litle dust under the crystal? is it save to using a rodico to remove the dust?

    • @ShortBetter
      @ShortBetter  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @willymatande6603 I wouldn't use it. Sometimes, it leaves some marks on shiny hands. But if you're using it very carefully, it may work. Check out lensepen. I started using it recently for cleaning crystals. Absolutely magical tool!

    does this case come with a bezel click spring ring? like on the original? cause I saw there are cases with an odd spring not in a ring shape that sucks

    • @ShortBetter
      @ShortBetter  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Nyphestotel not sure what's the difference is between old and new bezel springs. This case came already with the bezel, and I didn't remove it to check. But bezel action here is excellent

  • @khoiman
    @khoiman 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    What's the reason on buying an additonal bezel insert if the watch case already comes with one? They look almost similar.

    • @ShortBetter
      @ShortBetter  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's just a better colour match, in my opinion

    Is it okay not to apply glue when installing chapter ring in place?

    • @ShortBetter
      @ShortBetter  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @jamessaund it depends. Check if there is a small pip underfeeding your chapter ring. And if it matches the groove on the case, then you don't need any glue.
      I would use dial dots (double-side scotchtape) if the chapter ring was modified or isn't the standard size🙂

    Hello, friend! Your videos are so interesting. I have Seiko 5 but its hour hand alignment is off by about 2.5 - 3 minutes. What do you think about that? Is it normal for Seiko 5? I don't know because this is my first Seiko.

    • @ShortBetter
      @ShortBetter  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching! As far as I know, Seiko's assembling quality can be horrible 😁 I've checked a few seiko shops in the shopping mall, and I was very surprised why people would pay x4 price (compared to my mods) for such a bad alignment. And I often hear similar stories to yours. It's disappointing, indeed. Such a misalignment is not normal, especially for the money you paid. And it can be corrected if you want. You just need a set of tools as I showed in the video, and you could align it properly yourself

      Actually, I did tried to watch the rest of the video, and I saw you protected your fingers on your right hand, the one that 99% of time is holding tools, while fingers on your left hand, the one that held the watch most of the time, was still unprotected.
      So, you protected your tools from your skin oils, but not the watch itself?
      I guess all those professional watchmakers are doing it wrong all the time...
