The only change I would probably do is to swap the strap for a metal bracelet… yours is beautiful and well coordinated with the color, but unfortunately I sweat easily, so I can only wear metal bracelets… every time I tried something else, I had skin reaction, irritations, etc…

Nice watch and well done video! I normally service old vintage movements but one 4R36 was so full of rust that I ordered a NH36 as replacement. To my surprise, all the jewels were dry. No lubrication whatsoever. Is this normal?
@@ShortBetter At first it works ok but all the pivots will wear down after some time of use. I have checked with others who build watches, using NH3X and other movements. It is common that movements must be lubricated before delivery.
Yeah lt looks fantastic bro i was wondering when you put on sec hand you said don't push to hard, did you push it down any more are positioning or as you said not hard because that's all it needs? Great looking piece tho 👌 i try tampering but normally ends bad for me due to having a tremor which isn't conducive to watch building. So for me i mainly stick to the easy things. But that saves me money as i have many watches in my collection. I have to say you did like a guy i used to live with who was from Lithuania which i know has a good heritage of watch making.

I could not find one with the inner diameter of 30.6 is there a chance that 31.5mm will work? or do you have any other suggestions, thanks alot once again
If you want the dial indices pop, you can use a sharpie to color them brighter orange. If you can't find the exact color you want, you can also just order dials with white indices or white hands and just color them with a sharpie. You can even go so far as to color a piece of clear tape and put a small piece of tape over the back of the date window to make your date wheel any color you want. I wouldn't recommend using this trick on a black wheel with white letters. It is very hard to read the numbers. I tried coloring the actual date wheel but on some wheels, the ink dissolves the numbers. I made a lime green and black Captain Willard with a lime green strap and black deployant buckle and it absolutely rocks.
I tried using colored piece of plastic on the date window, someone recommended me before.. But honestly, I didn't like it much. I think just using a different color wheel is better

Hey, I've had some bad luck with the quality regarding the cases for skx. I've bought the case you used here, and the movement is loose inside the case. what solution do you recommend? I also bought the case you recommend in the description, and the bezel has a massive play and you can you can jiggle the bezel easily. What do you recommend me doing?
I've had only 1 case that didn't hold the movement tight. I even broke the crown stem while trying to close the caseback. I ended up using dial dots on the side of the movement. It was very tricky to do, but it worked. About the bezel, all my cases are with the excellent bezel action. Maybe I'm just lucky? Also, I recommend you use the second link for the case. It's a bit more expensive but better quality.

Honestly, I've never checked it. Most of the movements I ordered come close to plus 1-5 sec\day, that's the first and the last thing I check

There is nothing to say that all NH3X's must be lubricated. It may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Yours can be perfectly fine.

to this day I have never seen a good looking modded seiko and this is no exception. it's horrible

Get education , go to work , earn some money so you could buy original piece.... As simple as this. Otherwise you will end up buying cheap chinese crappy parts to put together cheap watch.
