I switched to a Chromebook back in college because of this. All of them are using our data, at least google is given something back.

I love my Google Pixel phone, and the integration of Android, Chrome & Search, but what I think needs to get spun off is TH-cam. They (Alphabet) were so keen to enter the streaming wars that they deleted their own Android stock music player and tried to force all their users on the TH-cam Music app. For me, that's Monopoly behaviour, and plus the app sucks anyways.
if chrome is spun off. how will it make money? by selling the search box? to whom? Google?😂 If I remember correctly? Firefox receives a lot of their funs from Google.
Wish we did actually criminally charge and jail these corporations. They all have board and executives who are ultimately in charge and responsible.
