The script is so ridiculously good actors who play each role beautifully! In a 18 minutes short film we get so much depth into each character and the camerawork makes the viewer so immersed. The script feels like something we would have studies for O/L literature

This is a great short film. This is a huge problem specially in South Asian communities but I do see this in some Western societies as well. We claim that we have freedoms but then some families pressure children and others to do thing that they don't like. Life is NOT complicated but we made it complicated.
Next on the Agenda is to make this required watch for all the families in Lanka. Just let your child decided when they want to get married, no need for parents/uncles/aunties and rest of society butting in. Kudos for the great video!

Parents, cousins, neighbours and the society want young women to get married and raise kids. Is it the only thing that a woman has to do in her life? Doesn't she like to spend a enjoyable life? It's her choice. This film is indeed a masterpiece. If you are not ready for a marriage even at the age of 40, nobody should make a fuss about it
