    This is the most intense and “every question answered” vid series on here. Thank you so much for doing this. I understand my boss looper so much clearer and better. This should be a companion vid to every unit sold.

      Thanks for checking out the content, I'm glad it's been useful. I think I got sidetracked after making this last one, but I do plan to continue where I left off, or perhaps even approach things differently and cover the manual in a more simplified way. Stay tuned!

    I must thank you as I needed this video so much! This could possibly mean that I don’t need an extra eq for my guitar before looper. Im using rc 300 with a Behringer eq700 but if understood correctly rc 600 allows you to use high pass filter and a low pass filter and gives you 2 extra parametric eq that you can choose witch frequency you need and how precisely? Am I right? It would save my life as I got so much feedback problems around 120hz (H and C notes)
    And the compressor and noise surpressor is magnificent too! It works like a gate right? When my duett partner is not around her mic it will mute it? Thanks for your help

    • @RossGallagherMusic
      @RossGallagherMusic  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for your message! Yep, plenty of options available inside the unit, including the ability to use up to 4 FX at one time, as well as having EQ for each input and each output, a master reverb and a noise suppressor if needed. I know many users that have ditched a number of external pedals because the RC-600 gives you a number of options onboard. All the best, Ross

    So hey, I'd just like to ask a quick question!
    -> Can I use a MIDI Switcher like an Engl Z12 to play back drone tracks? Specifically, 12 different pre-recorded drone tracks that I would map out to each of the switches of the Z12 (chromatic). Could that be done directly or does it need a lot of work-around? If I understand correctly, it can't be done as easy as I'd like to...

    • @RossGallagherMusic
      @RossGallagherMusic  ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't like to say for sure, as I'm not familiar with the device. However, as you have 16 assigns within the RC-600, it is possible to have 16 different MIDI commands with an external device. As there are 6 tracks available on each memory, have you thought about how you could play 12 different pre-recorded tracks?

    • @LeonartMusic
      @LeonartMusic ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RossGallagherMusic Yeah I've been thinking about that. As of my current state of knowledge, unfortunately it seems like there is no workaround for this, and I'd have to do a double-foot tap: switching to the required memory, then activating the actual track. Maybe an automatic MIDI-CC change through my sheet music on the iPad could be done, but it still doesn't solve it for spontaneus improvisations... and I dread the fact that I'll have to set everything up correctly for every song we do :D

    • @RossGallagherMusic
      @RossGallagherMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, did you want to have all 12 pre-recorded drone tracks all set for one song, or just have them during the set, so for use at separate times?

    • @LeonartMusic
      @LeonartMusic ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RossGallagherMusic the latter. It‘d be 1-3 tracks per song. But let‘s say something goes wrong in the memory recall setup: I‘ll be pushing knobs all day until I find what‘s needed!
      Being an organist, I like all my options to be „at the ready“ whenever I need them, so I won‘t be limited to having to choose the appropriate song first

    • @RossGallagherMusic
      @RossGallagherMusic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In that case, save a template that works for your setup, and copy this template to a new memory until you have enough memories set up to accommodate all of your tracks. Then, just use your iPad to select whichever memory is required for each song, you could use Onsong or SongbookPro as I've mentioned in previous videos. Then just have all of you assigns set up for your MIDI controller which will be set up on your template memory and easily copied across. Boom! Hopefully that would work for you and be relatively hassle free!

    Gotta condense those intros man, I’m at a minute and a half and you’re still going on about subscribers and super shares or whatever….. keep the pandering for likes under 20 seconds or put it at the end of the video. Super annoying

      Appreciate the feedback. It's all a learning curve, especially in the earlier days of making content, but you'll see in more recent videos that the waffle at the start is cut down to a minimum. Cheers, Ross
