I have followed every crazy and non-working solution from both Microsoft and canon. I liked, commented and subbed. Again, thank you so much !!!!!

My old HP printer was starting to wear down and cause scanning problems. So I decided to replace it with another HP basic model to be used for moderate printing and scanning at home. Arrived in 2 days and was well packaged. Took me about 15 or 20 minutes to set it up - just follow the online instructions. It is working as expected and have had no problems so far. The free ink for 6 months is a steal. I was on the HP ink plan for the last 4 years and was very pleased with it. So now I have free ink for 6 months which will save me half the cost of the printer. What a deal!

I've been trying to get my printer hooked to Win10 since It auto installed and up till today I could not connect it. I got so much misleading information on buttons and orders but your video cleared it up for me and I'm connected! Thank you
Does it need to have admin access to the laptop? Also I read that this printer supports only 2.4 GHz. But my router is 5 GHz. Can I still be able to connect to wireless?
@@CopyPrintScanChannel when i saw your vidro your cannon automatically is added to your network in the wi fi network in mine doesn’t show up that’s why i can’t print front my phone It only shows another hp printer (that I don’t have) So the wuestion is what do i need to do to add the new printer to my phone Apple x? Thank you
None of this worked. Nothing on here is relevant. The website does not download that software and any software you can find on Cannons site does not do any of this
I cannot get the printer to connect to the wifi!! -_- If I do the phone setup, it connect to a made up wifi that the printer created and there's no way to change that wifi setup (to select my home wifi), and the laptop doesn't see the made up wifi. I can't connect the laptop to that made up wifi. I disconnected the printer from that made up wifi, and tried the computer setup. I followed all these steps, but the printer is "undetectable" and they recommend using a usb cable (which I don't have).. I'm about to throw it all away. (It used to work fine before, and we had to change our wifi password, and since then there's no way to reconnect it.)

It was good right up until the point where my printer did not connect with the computer. You did not go into troubleshooting when that occurs.
My connection is not going through. I don't know what I am doing wrong. I've tried everything!

always says connection failed
If it's not working, make sure you put in the ink first!!

Can't get past Printer Detection. You sped through that step unfortunately.
What do I do when I press the WiFi button, the on button doesn’t flash. As matter of fact neither one flashed.
Try after unpluging for 15 minutes.
