Nice video seeing that trip. One day I will follow your tracks. A must have in a boat is a knife sharpener, that tomato was putting up quite a fight 😂

Leaving is the hardest part. If you can sail in the short steep chop of Port Phillip Bay, you can sail anywhere. Happy travels

Thank you. I was certainly happy to have great mentors with me. Hopefully Burim will get to experience it soon as well.

You bring back many memories for me.
The first time I sailed from Melb to Sydney was back in 1975, I was only 12 back then.
You missed a couple of good spots, refuge cove in Wilson's Prom absolutely beautiful, water so clean it feels like you're floating at anchor and a fantastic anchorage even in the wildest weather.
Also Eden is actually a nice spot to stay a day or 3, it's an old whaling port, not sure if the whaling museum is still there but it used to be run by an old guy who was an ex whaler, the type of guy who could tell stories for a week and you'd listen to every word haha.
Not sure if you're stopping in Sydney or continuing on, but the Royal Prince Albert yacht club in Pitt Water is a must see. Absolutely amazingly beautiful yachts there and the people were always so open and friendly.
Enjoy your trip and stay safe!
    Cheers 🍻🍻

Glad it brought back good memories for you. Yes, unfortunately we didn't stop at Refuge Cove, so I guess I'll have to do it again one day 😃
The rest of the journey to Sydney will be published in two weeks and there are a few more stops on the way. Unfortunately, I had to hop off in Sydney but Caprice continued on all the way to Airle Beach. Thanks for sharing your experience and all your tips!
