i'm very late for this. was checking your channel after watching your 'sour' reaction and came across you reacting to one of my favorite bands - hopefully other people do the same cause you're insanely entertaining and relatable. truly, this band is so personal to me, and sometimes people ask me why i like them so much and it's because of a word you used a lot in the video, the atmosphere. no one can ever replicate the 'the 1975 atmosphere' they're a whole experience. and honestly i've never seen someone react to them in a way that represented me so much, just like you did. yes, george is a genius. i don't know any technical terms for music or anything, i just know feelings, and they make me feel A LOT. btw you're the nicest, and i've listened to some of your own songs and covers and you're amazing, wishing for all your success

Okay so I really loved this reaction!! You totally get absorbed into the music, it's great to see. I would describe that groove that characterises a lot of this music is UK garage music; I think that's where the inspo comes from (And country too of course! That's the yin to the yang)

I feel like Matty really allowed George to take full control of all the instrumentals on this album and that what makes all of them so amazing. By far some of the best instrumentals they've done are on NOACF

I've watched this review multiple times now and what i gotta say is one of the reasons why this band means alot to me, aside from all you have mentioned is how openly and gentle they talk about losing religion. For matty who was not a part of religion, he understands it in a way a person removed from it does. I guess i've been struggling with losing my faith for so long i have never met someone not be antagonistic about it. I dont want ppl hating on it, hating on the higher beings we chose. He has such an inherent understanding of whats wrong with it so for me its just a realization that its not for me that is why i loooved "if i believe you" song.
