They should have gotten a Grammy nomination for "Being funny in a foreign language", the album is amazing.
Unfortunately Grammy is a popularity contest now
sadly , the Grammys suck now
@@panxoaltair1 have always sucked
grammy is bullshit
This is not a Grammy band, they are real musicians with raw talent.
"This song is about growing up in Manchester." followed by 'I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes)' is extremely fucking funny
HERO!

why did you copy&paste the other persons time stamps???
I knew someone would come through in the comments ❤
I've searching this comment for so long, good job man
Gracias persona del bien que sube el setlist ❤🩹
53 year old guy here, this is the best performed and designed live show I have ever witnessed since U2s Zoo TV tour in 92, phenomenal band and show concept.
I'm 33 and saw this live in SF, I was in awe
I'm with you there! I'm 53 and bloody love them, they're just the fucking best ❤❤
47 here! There a very few bands out there today that have been consistently amazing and The 1975 have had my heart from their very beginning. twenty one pilots is another band I love. Both amazing bands who put out quality music and put on amazing live shows.
Ohhhhh yeah, welcome to the show
Wow what a group of exceptional talents..
it’s bonkers how sobriety healed matty’s vocals. he sounds the best he’s ever sounded. he’s lowkey incredible
He’s been drunk for the last year or so lol
he starts the show drinking and smoking......
@@AlanTerryuk the sobriety is a lot deeper than smoking and drinking
@@glenmclean3872 true that. I’m just saying that starting the show like that doesn’t give me a “good, sober vibe”
@@alex-oo1vy okay yeah lol i understand that and know that but im not talking about alcohol or weed… im talking about his sobriety HE talks about. like heroine and coke.. lol
I'm 62 years old and have loved The 1975 since I first heard Chocolate. I remember dancing on the beach with my ear buds in. Such talent!! I'm so glad to see their success!!
I'm 63 and heard the 1975 at Coachella festival for the first time and was blown away.
I am 67 years old. I remember when they got the title of worst rock band. Mathew said that One Direction wouldn't survive as a band.
35 years old and have loved them since Sex!
@@bon2yan88 Sex and Paris
@@lotus3161”Same??” lol knock it off I’m 48 and seen them 4x and we fit right in at the shows. Just bought tixs to see their final show in Seattle and we live in St. Louis!
One of the best live shows ever
After the o2 ofc
See you guys in Portugal!!
@@FoodciangZhengthis is better than the o2
You obviously don’t get out much do you?
So true !!!
I'll never forget when i used to watch their live full show at The o2, London by vevo 6 years ago from my small room, shitty laptop just vibing, sobbing and actually shed tears cus of how much this band would help me go thru the stuff i struggle with and now to actually see them live twice is just amazing and fulfilling
Same for me...the o2 live was what got me and from there to watching them live in 2023 🤩
This is so relatable.
That video of their O2 set in 2016 is the most important video on TH-cam. I remember how I got goosebumps the first time I saw it in 2017.
Same for me,,, the 02 live was when I considered how much I loved this wonderful band.
this is CRAZY how accurate you are!!! from watching them at the o2 to seeing them TWICE
The saxophone on Happiness is just absolutely spectacular really.
And the intro to To Shy 😭
what a fucking show, can't even begin to imagine the atmosphere being there in person
gonna be there tomorrow for their show in brussels, i cannot wait!!!
@@kevinvanhove5834same
@@kevinvanhove5834how was it?
@@josepha133 good but couldve been better. Had a feeling mat didn't really care about the crowd so much. They dipped off the stage at the end really fast

I’m 64. Been a musician for most of those years. I don’t care for much pop. My friends don’t seem to like anything new. Music ended in 1979. But these folks…The 1975 and their side players. I mean c’mon. The tunes, the lyrics, the arranging, and the playing. This band is so thoughtful and enjoy the fact that they can perform live. Saw them in October. Just great.
Truly, music transcends regardless of age. Their music is art ❤️ glad you were able to watch them live!!!!
music didn't end in 1979 you just haven't been looking hard enough
I know that. My point is that most people my age think it did.
My daughter dragged me to their gig in 2020 at the age of 46; I will be grateful for forever for that day (numerous gigs later). Love this band to bits.
64 yo female here - Luv this band - they are my go to music every day - can't wait for new music from them
1:41:57 - the slow mo shot after Matty belts out that high note is such poetic cinema, just feel the whole song is encompassed in this 20 seconds. What a band.
My favourite song of theirs. Always has been. Straight chills down my spine with this live version.
I wish the whole movie had more stylistic flourishes like this. I feel like it being a livestream limited their ability to the play with the filmmaking, even though a concert of this kind definitely deserves it.
Hello, may I know the title of this song. Pleaseee
@@user-no5uj9vn9y I always wanna die (Sometimes)
this one too 46:47
I want to live inside this show for the rest of my life - the feeling this show gives me is better than any drug on the market. It's pure happiness. It's fucking everything.
Holy fuck the engagement from the crowd during Too Shy is insane. What a live band, and what a captivating lead singer Matty is
Thank you for bringin me up here, Taylor. What a fu**in incredible band, i totally love this. This Show blowed my mind. Insane.
Same! Winner!
God bless them for posting these concerts, I wish more artists did, not all of us have the money to go see them live when we live on the other part of the world. I would pay three times as much to see this at the theatre on the big screen than any other major artist. Congrats on the editing, directing as well, as if the sheer beauty of these songs wasn't enough.
It’s also great marketing and I don’t know why as you say other artists don’t see the benefit of it
i heard my first the 1975 song when i was twelve years old. ten years later, i was lucky enough to be front row for this show. i don’t think words can explain how much this music has been with me through all phases of my life. now i get to have one of the best days of my life documented and i don’t think i’ve ever seen myself happier :’) the 1975 you are the music of my life. i love you.
It's GREAT stuff. Life can be GREAT stuff.
this setlist is literally insane
😞 not what we got in SLC. I was so sad about it.
SLC's was better wym?? we got 28 and JC2005GBA... @@Metis_801
Really? What did you get then? @@Metis_801
Listening to “I always wanna die sometimes” live with everyone at a concert is an out of body experience. Hope I can go back and see them again some time soon. 🥹
There was something different among the crowd during this song at the concert. A true, genuine energy coming from everyone. What a song to hear live.
Just saw a clip of it on instagram. A whole 30 seconds. Had to find the full video...I have never had goosebumps for an entire song and after before. Can't imagine the feeling live.
Very unique and great energy. They sound so awesome live. There aren't many artists that can compare to their live shows.
Sorry for spelling errors..don't have my glasses on. Lol.
yup Unique.
The When We Are Together performance is probably the most beautiful moment I've seen from these guys onstage. So tender and communal. Love love love when they clap and sing along and Matty gives a shoutout to all the band members.
Absolutely agree. It appears like it’s been months since they’ve included it in the setlist. I hope they bring it back for the Toronto show Saturday! Such an amazing and heartfelt track. The harmonies are just gorgeous too
There are too many iconic moments in this show to count. Truly a masterpiece
Absolutely incredible.
I NEED to see them once before I die.
Missed their Australia tour...can't wait to see them live
Having seen them perform up and down the UK for years. This iteration of the 1975 is such a healed, happy version of them its brilliant.
I simply can't imagine my life without this band
I'm 37 and I love these guys. A lot of older people than me saying the same. They really are that universal
The way I just can't stop but smile whenever I see the 'If you're too shy' live🤧❤
This band is something else✨
That song gets me sooooo hyped when played live - hard to describe but I think you may get it :)
@@amit687 Ahhh I get it dude😭
This song is MADE to be performed live and I so much play this version more than the studio more.
It lifts up my mood in a great way💥
Saw it live in Milan. Loved it. Still at your very best!
che concerto pazzesco!
Same best night ever
When i saw the 1975 on this tour in Nottingham I only knew one song which i'd seen on Graham Norton "it's not living...". I nearly didn't go but OMG, what a night, what a band and I am so thankful I went. This tour was magnificent. Matty and the band - genius. .
Came here from TTPD, fell in love. Wish the circumstances were better but so happy to be introduced to this stellar band. Damn.
Same. Loving it.
Yay! Welcome 🤗 they are amazing ❤
from what? whats ttpd?
oh shit nvm
I love how they balanced this. I can so clearly hear everyone, specifically Ross and George sing their BVs in I’m in Love With You Oh Caroline.
I watch this at least twice a month until next tour. This band is just everything.
I'm always blown away by the magnitude of the creativity, raw talent and showmanship of Matty, supported by the incredible musicianship of the rest of The 1975 guys, and their long-term touring musicians. I hope that they know that we are so appreciative of their talent and efforts, as they have been the soundtrack of the last decade, through joyful and challenging times alike.
Wishing The 1975 continued success, and so pleased that so many others are being introduced to their music, and enjoying their amazing shows!♥
It's 2024 and still the best fckin show I've seen. Matty is truly a show man.
Seriously, look at how sublimely happy those fans were that night.
This was the BEST album in 2023 Grammy or no Grammy. Still on high rotation on my playlist in 2024
They sound so good live. I need to go on their next tour
They are going on an indefinite hiatus after this tour. 😢
I recommend you do , seeing them live proved to me there like a top 5 band
@@zaneybrewsreviewsevery band goes on an indefinite hiatus after their tours
Too bad they won't be as good the next time
@@erroldtumaque3430why do you say that?
Most unique band ever. No artist can captivate an audience like Matty and the band. Their energy and music is next level.
Greatest Band since The 1980 group
Please don’t ever get tired of us, the fans. We will show up every tour. Cancel crazies got nothing on us. Your music has done a lot for so many of us. We’ve got you.
this is a fucking film, a genuine and perfect form of expression of art through cinematography. The 1975 its been part of my life since the beginning of 2023, and even though i missed so many great times of the band, im glad i didn't loose everything. Y'all guys, im so thankfull for giving me a different form of seeing music, art and a way to express passion and love. I am an artist, and the 1975 it part of me, cuz i always feel like this, but i just havent found people who get it too. Thank You! One day i hope i can play with you guys.
When I was 16 these songs explained everything that I couldn’t express in my head. The happy days, the dark sad days, the nostalgia… ALL OF IT!
This band is out of this world. This is the best concert that I have attended. They put a lot of thought into the concept of the show. They sound as good if not better than their record. I just hope Matt Healy takes care of himself. With his smoking and drinking, I am not sure how that helps him maintain his vocal power. Please take care so that we can keep watching his shows.
My grandmother was a musician her whole life, and has loved learning about this style of music through my liking The 1975. I wanted to take her to a concert but she cannot step away from her care for my grandfather, but this has allowed me to give her the experience from her own home. Thank you ❤
I would love to go on a 1975 show again and again. would never forget the first show i've been to! incredible.
What I love about this band is you could put together one of the best albums of all time with the songs they didn’t play

This live is insane. A perfect show.
So glad this has been released it's incredible!! Love every song on it. This really is the 1975 at their very best
The soundtrack to your teenage years.
I'm amazed on how good these guys are. Always heard the name but never gave them a chance to listen to their music. TH-cam suggested this concert and now im hooked. You guys are amazing.
The live performance of 'I Like America & America Likes Me' gives me goosebumps.
Live sound is better than studio record? HOW?
BIG LOVE!
They use some backing tracks and auto tune on Matty a fair bit, but they are also great performers with a lot of musicians on stage to get it right!
Agree. So often I hate to see an artist live because they sound so much better studio produced. This is the complete opposite - they sound AMAZING live! I saw them 2x this Fall and want to 'go again' because it's JUST SO GOOD. Not lying - they just keep getting better baby!
Best band in the whole wide world.
Agreed
Hell yeah, magnificent
Have you seen them live?
I remember watching live at the o2 all throughout Covid as a sixteen year old, but being able to be at this concert in person was everything I had ever dreamed of. AND ITS HAPPENING AGAIN ❤
Fantastic concert. ‘I’m in love with you’ brilliant. I think the superb musicianship of the whole band isn’t always acknowledged but they really are at the top of their game.
Saw them for the first time live in San Diego in September, truly a life changing experience I don't think I'll ever forget that night. After 12 years as a fan and thinking I'd never be able to experience them, this was definitely the best night of my life so far.
Im subjecting my one and half year old to this whole concert so hopefully he grows up appreciating how good this band is
The vibe is immaculate
They are just simply brilliant. Saw this show in London last night. The best of this generation in my opinion
At 68 I have seen a lot of concert films. Stop Making Sense is still my favorite, but this is a close second, and the 1975 are the best band in the world right now.. I saw this show twice in Denver this year and oddly enough saw the Talking Heads Stop Making Sense tour live twice as well, in Philly and LA. Anyhow kudos to the director and everyone involved with this.
So glad I got to see this show in Atlanta. Seriously one of the best shows I've ever seen!
Watching thier live performance always is a relaxing thought ❤❤❤
I loved watching the crowd at this recording. look how many beautiful girls and guys are in this room. and it makes me so happy to know that I am part of this community. You guys are wonderful.
I love your band, your music, Matty's voice. I hope you're here forever. It gives me such wonderful emotions I am so happy thank you for sharing.
this show specifically has made me a lifetime fan. got a chance to see them on their still at their very best tour, easily top show i've been to.
My favourite UK band!!! The best concert I've been to ever!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I went to the Columbus and Grand Rapids shows and I’m SO fucking glad we have something this high quality to re-live those memories 🎉
love seeing myself and all the friends i've made through the band in this, so amazing to relive again and again
One of the best concert performance ever!
..at their very best is the best live show I’ve ever seen by far; it’s not even close! Amazing talent; all of them. Absolutely love seeing their growing success; I’ve loved them since they were just putting out EP’s, and now they’re playing MSG! I’m so excited for them!
Love the back half of this show. Just reminds you for an hour+ how many certified bangers this band has.
This band is EVERYTHING ❤️🔥
😍I keep coming back to this live video. Speechless, a masterpiece.. jealous of the people who were there.
What a performance, especially consumption. I have just obsessed by this live shows
Hearing the bands vocals when singing along with Matty was magic!😭🥹❤️
Wow, fantastic to watch the full concert!!! Love them !!! ❤❤❤
✨Literally the best band in the world! ✨ so happy to see them perform in PH 🇵🇭 looking forward on your next tour 🫶🏻
"Somebody else" always hits!! ❤😢
John waugh though btw 😂 christ the solo on hapiness is incredible
The best they have ever sounded.
Still… at their very best 😎🎉
its pretty cool to see where this band is now, back when I saw them they were nobody's, but when i saw them live they sold out the whole place LOL it was filled of all screaming 14yo girls and I was so lost because I honestly thought I was the only one who knew them because nobody was talking about them at all. That was a really awesome concert, and its nice to see where they are now.
so lovely
Went to their show in Newark last night. Finally getting to see them after being a fan since debut was surreal. I bought tickets today for their Philly show Friday. I just have to see it again!
LET'S GOOOO now i'll always get to relive this concert
I've seen this band play live multiple times now, and I can truly say that The 1975 improve every single time❤! So happy to say that I was able to see them live in North Carolina in Charlotte, NC 10/20/23! Such great memories and music all in one.
Was so excited to be there and even more excited I get to relive it again on here. Best band ever!!
the entire show...this is insane!! thank you guys so much for posting this!!
Wow.. best performance live i have ever seen
Omg I am back in my 1975 phase y did I ever leave? Such a banger of a concert
I've been listening for like 3 years now straight and finally going to see them live in a couple of weeks
truly at their very best
Hats off to the band and the sound team - this is a jawdropping performance, complimented by fantastic production and mixing.
I seriously regret not seeing them the last time they played in Toronto. Might have to travel to see them.

Wow. Just amazing
I see them live every time they come to my city. Always, always, always a phenomenal show. They are truly such an underrated band and to see them grow and reach new heights is so rewarding as a longtime fan.
