This has to be the best concert I've watched since John Mayer at the Nokia Theater in LA!!!! Flipping brilliant - with so much soul!!!! Where have they been all my life?
Listening to “I always wanna die sometimes” live with everyone at a concert is an out of body experience. Hope I can go back and see them again some time soon. 🥹
Just saw a clip of it on instagram. A whole 30 seconds. Had to find the full video...I have never had goosebumps for an entire song and after before. Can't imagine the feeling live.
The When We Are Together performance is probably the most beautiful moment I've seen from these guys onstage. So tender and communal. Love love love when they clap and sing along and Matty gives a shoutout to all the band members.
Absolutely agree. It appears like it’s been months since they’ve included it in the setlist. I hope they bring it back for the Toronto show Saturday! Such an amazing and heartfelt track. The harmonies are just gorgeous too
I would give anything to experience this show just one more time. It seriously changed my life. I think I about it probably more than I should and I’ve been to a ton of concerts..but I always come back to this one.
1:41:57 - the slow mo shot after Matty belts out that high note is such poetic cinema, just feel the whole song is encompassed in this 20 seconds. What a band.
I wish the whole movie had more stylistic flourishes like this. I feel like it being a livestream limited their ability to the play with the filmmaking, even though a concert of this kind definitely deserves it.
It's 3am and i just decided to discover the 1975 and holy shit I've been putting it back for so long like a stupid assignment but the assignment turned out to be a perfect hellish paradise it's unfair really their music is my ideal cup of tea
Welcome to the club. Whether you're 15 and their lyrics speak to the unfairness of your world, or your 68 years old, re-discovering what a truly beautiful gift amazing live musicianship is, you're home. Take a load off, grab a bev and friend, dance, sing, and love the day away with the best of em': 6-10 friends all playing the music that defines them. Their friends. Their families. Their childhoods. Their pasts. Their futures. It's a great time to be a fan.
Lol I hate when I discover a band late but at least you’ve got a lot to listen to. I saw these guys twice back in the day (2013-2015 ish) but kinda fell off after the third album. I’m so glad that I’m back tho because damn these guys are good. I can’t listen to I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes) without crying
I'm mad that I just started listening to them 2 months ago and both of my daughters and a friend of mine have been listening to them since the beginning. They tried to get me to listen to them a long time ago. I can't stop now. I hate they are on hiatus and we didn't get a chance to see them on this tour😢
SAME they’ve been in my periphery for a decade but only two months ago I decided to dive in and I’m full of regret that I didn’t do it in 2014 lol. Glad I’m here now though.
Hey guys it jack (72 year old), feels like only yesterday I was in high school listening to these guys. Can't believe I'm really turning 52 tomorrow, is millennials are sure growing up fast!
I'm always blown away by the magnitude of the creativity, raw talent and showmanship of Matty, supported by the incredible musicianship of the rest of The 1975 guys, and their long-term touring musicians. I hope that they know that we are so appreciative of their talent and efforts, as they have been the soundtrack of the last decade, through joyful and challenging times alike. Wishing The 1975 continued success, and so pleased that so many others are being introduced to their music, and enjoying their amazing shows!♥
I dare anyone to watch this & still not get why the biggest pop star in the world wrote half of her new album about breaking up with him ;) He's not the tallest or most conventionally handsome dude in the world, totally problematic in some ways...but some guys just have it & Matty HAS IT.
No one really knows who the songs are about. It’s a guessing game. I will say there’s no way that she wrote half of her songs about Matty. Most of everything she writes is a mix of real life and fantasy. So many double meanings and life events. It’s silly to think her songs are all about her past boyfriends. That’s not recognizing her talent. She’s an amazing artist. This guy is not amazing..
When i saw the 1975 on this tour in Nottingham I only knew one song which i'd seen on Graham Norton "it's not living...". I nearly didn't go but OMG, what a night, what a band and I am so thankful I went. This tour was magnificent. Matty and the band - genius. .
this is a fucking film, a genuine and perfect form of expression of art through cinematography. The 1975 its been part of my life since the beginning of 2023, and even though i missed so many great times of the band, im glad i didn't loose everything. Y'all guys, im so thankfull for giving me a different form of seeing music, art and a way to express passion and love. I am an artist, and the 1975 it part of me, cuz i always feel like this, but i just havent found people who get it too. Thank You! One day i hope i can play with you guys.
Ok I admit I’m here because of Taylor and curiosity. Well… I can see the attraction now, he’s pretty amazing. Great band , love the vibe. Too bad they didn’t work out but now 1975 has a ton of new fans including me😂!
same here. i used to love them back in the day but i haven't listened to them in ages. taylor has me falling back down this rabbit hole and i'm not mad at it lol

My grandmother was a musician her whole life, and has loved learning about this style of music through my liking The 1975. I wanted to take her to a concert but she cannot step away from her care for my grandfather, but this has allowed me to give her the experience from her own home. Thank you ❤
This band is out of this world. This is the best concert that I have attended. They put a lot of thought into the concept of the show. They sound as good if not better than their record. I just hope Matt Healy takes care of himself. With his smoking and drinking, I am not sure how that helps him maintain his vocal power. Please take care so that we can keep watching his shows.
There’s nothing I love more than seeing peoples faces in the crowd of these videos. There’s nothing like that live show connection to your favorite artist/music, it’s just magic ✨
Agree. So often I hate to see an artist live because they sound so much better studio produced. This is the complete opposite - they sound AMAZING live! I saw them 2x this Fall and want to 'go again' because it's JUST SO GOOD. Not lying - they just keep getting better baby!
I'm amazed on how good these guys are. Always heard the name but never gave them a chance to listen to their music. TH-cam suggested this concert and now im hooked. You guys are amazing.

Having seen them perform up and down the UK for years. This iteration of the 1975 is such a healed, happy version of them its brilliant.
This has to be the best concert I've watched since John Mayer at the Nokia Theater in LA!!!! Flipping brilliant - with so much soul!!!! Where have they been all my life?
Someone said it! This and John Mayer Live at the Nokia Theatre are my top 2 live performances in recent time. Phenomenal.
John Mayer and The 1975 are my two favorite artists; so funny to find people with the same interests!
Listening to “I always wanna die sometimes” live with everyone at a concert is an out of body experience. Hope I can go back and see them again some time soon. 🥹
There was something different among the crowd during this song at the concert. A true, genuine energy coming from everyone. What a song to hear live.
The harmonies are just gorgeous too
Love the back half of this show. Just reminds you for an hour+ how many certified bangers this band has.
Very unique and great energy. They sound so awesome live. There aren't many artists that can compare to their live shows.
Sorry for spelling errors..don't have my glasses on. Lol.
yup Unique.
I would give anything to experience this show just one more time. It seriously changed my life. I think I about it probably more than I should and I’ve been to a ton of concerts..but I always come back to this one.
by far the most iconic live performance i've ever watched. what a band!!!
I would give anything to experience that again!
It's 2024 and still the best fckin show I've seen. Matty is truly a show man.
1:41:57 - the slow mo shot after Matty belts out that high note is such poetic cinema, just feel the whole song is encompassed in this 20 seconds. What a band.
My favourite song of theirs. Always has been. Straight chills down my spine with this live version.
I wish the whole movie had more stylistic flourishes like this. I feel like it being a livestream limited their ability to the play with the filmmaking, even though a concert of this kind definitely deserves it.
Hello, may I know the title of this song. Pleaseee
@@HeleneCoronado I always wanna die (Sometimes)
this one too 46:47
The crowd, the band, the choreography, the set, the cameras. Just 10/10
I feel bad for the people that aren’t watching this once per week
@@cmiles80 that is the WORST when you fall in love with a band and realize you JUST missed their tour lol don’t worry they’ll be back!
This was the BEST album in 2023 Grammy or no Grammy. Still on high rotation on my playlist in 2024
The pure joy in everyone’s face at the end of I’m In Love With You legit makes me cry 🥹🥹
Gives me chills everytime I rewatch it this is craaazyyy😭😭💗
Came here from TTPD, fell in love. Wish the circumstances were better but so happy to be introduced to this stellar band. Damn.
Same. Loving it.
Yay! Welcome 🤗 they are amazing ❤
from what? whats ttpd?
oh shit nvm
can’t believe i missed this band 🤯 amazing sound and performance 🎉
This is the best performance of "If you're too shy" ever!!
Matt is insanely talented.
Wishing The 1975 continued success, and so pleased that so many others are being introduced to their music, and enjoying their amazing shows!♥
I'm 37 and I love these guys. A lot of older people than me saying the same. They really are that universal
I’m 37 too! But I think these guys aren’t much younger than us. They caught my attention even though I mostly listen to 90s rock still!!
Greatest show I’ve ever been to.
This band will always give me feels ❤
I’m literally never into this skinny druggie rockstar types but Matty Healy has got something else cuz even I think he is SEXY AF 😂
Best band in the whole wide world.
Agreed
Hell yeah, magnificent
Have you seen them live?
Most unique band ever. No artist can captivate an audience like Matty and the band. Their energy and music is next level.
Greatest Band since The 1980 group
When i saw the 1975 on this tour in Nottingham I only knew one song which i'd seen on Graham Norton "it's not living...". I nearly didn't go but OMG, what a night, what a band and I am so thankful I went. This tour was magnificent. Matty and the band - genius. .
Not here because of TTPD, but enjoy the greatest band on the planet the 1975!!!!
64 yo female here - Luv this band - they are my go to music every day - can't wait for new music from them
Saw it live in Milan. Loved it. Still at your very best!
che concerto pazzesco!
Same best night ever
Kudos Chris Martin for Ref. I'd Love it we made it at Sydney concert when Matty and Gabriette were attending xxx♥️♥️
I saw this show in England and it is to date the best show I’ve seen and I’ve seen them live so many times.
Masterpiece after masterpiece
this is a fucking film, a genuine and perfect form of expression of art through cinematography.
I would love to go on a 1975 show again and again. would never forget the first show i've been to! incredible.
Si Matthew lang talaga 'yung red flag na tinatanggap ko sa buhay 🫶
Ok I admit I’m here because of Taylor and curiosity. Well… I can see the attraction now, he’s pretty amazing. Great band , love the vibe. Too bad they didn’t work out but now 1975 has a ton of new fans including me😂!
THANK YOU. I wish people would look past all the Taylor/Matty drama and actually just listen to this band. They’re so talented.
same here. i used to love them back in the day but i haven't listened to them in ages. taylor has me falling back down this rabbit hole and i'm not mad at it lol
Same...never heard of them, and WOW Oh Carolina might me one of my new faves...Taylor's got good taste!!! 🤣
@@lindsayhickman9604 have you seen some of matty's interview moments? i just watched his 10 essentials the other night and was like "okay taylor i get it now" lol
@@lindsayhickman9604it’s so clearly about Taylor! Even the dance moves and the actress in the video looked like Taylor circa Delicate.
i watch this like every week
This is literally the reason i bought their ticket last year in Sydney, one of the best moments i’ve had in my life just nuts
Jamie and George’s voice in “Oh Caroline” is so angelic?? Like are you kidding me???
I watch this concert 3 times a day when I'm working 😆
The performance of I’m in love with you was amazing
When I was 16 these songs explained everything that I couldn’t express in my head. The happy days, the dark sad days, the nostalgia… ALL OF IT!
They sound fantastic
Seriously, look at how sublimely happy those fans were that night.
The way I just can't stop but smile whenever I see the 'If you're too shy' live🤧❤
This band is something else✨
That song gets me sooooo hyped when played live - hard to describe but I think you may get it :)
@@amit687 Ahhh I get it dude😭
This song is MADE to be performed live and I so much play this version more than the studio more.
It lifts up my mood in a great way💥
I love how they balanced this. I can so clearly hear everyone, specifically Ross and George sing their BVs in I’m in Love With You Oh Caroline.
Always coming back to this, ily the 1975
My grandmother was a musician her whole life, and has loved learning about this style of music through my liking The 1975. I wanted to take her to a concert but she cannot step away from her care for my grandfather, but this has allowed me to give her the experience from her own home. Thank you ❤
Honestly, I’ve been alive since ‘89 and love all types of music. This, is by far, the best band ever.
Same. Born '86
this setlist is literally insane
😞 not what we got in SLC. I was so sad about it.
SLC's was better wym?? we got 28 and JC2005GBA... @@Metis_801
Really? What did you get then? @@Metis_801
This band is out of this world. This is the best concert that I have attended. They put a lot of thought into the concept of the show. They sound as good if not better than their record. I just hope Matt Healy takes care of himself. With his smoking and drinking, I am not sure how that helps him maintain his vocal power. Please take care so that we can keep watching his shows.
if you're too shyのイントロのワクワク感からの始まった時の高揚感やばい
The best fucking band on the planet. The coolest fucking band on the planet.
The 1975
I'd go back in time over and over again to be in that concert
There’s nothing I love more than seeing peoples faces in the crowd of these videos. There’s nothing like that live show connection to your favorite artist/music, it’s just magic ✨
Im watching this again,love it😊❤
There’s something about the way he sings ‘she was part of the airforce I was part of the band’ that does something to me woof x
They are just simply brilliant. Saw this show in London last night. The best of this generation in my opinion
Live sound is better than studio record? HOW?
BIG LOVE!
They use some backing tracks and auto tune on Matty a fair bit, but they are also great performers with a lot of musicians on stage to get it right!
Agree. So often I hate to see an artist live because they sound so much better studio produced. This is the complete opposite - they sound AMAZING live! I saw them 2x this Fall and want to 'go again' because it's JUST SO GOOD. Not lying - they just keep getting better baby!
So glad this has been released it's incredible!! Love every song on it. This really is the 1975 at their very best
Thank you, Taylor Swift for bringing me here. Matty Freakin Healy and 1975 are so damn gooooodddddd!!!!!!
I'm amazed on how good these guys are. Always heard the name but never gave them a chance to listen to their music. TH-cam suggested this concert and now im hooked. You guys are amazing.
This just might be the best concert of all time.
The crowd that got to hug George🥺🥺❤❤
