on bluethooth with ps4 controller all perfect , with xbox one controller some games have a little of stuttering and others with fps drop like on Doom 2016 from 200 fps too 130 fps :(
Yes I know, can see this on 1:16. But which settings the monitor has is not important for this comparison, the fact is that you can roughly measure the difference between USB and bluetooth
I need help, I bought a V2 controller (since I used to have a V1 controller but now switched) and I can't see communication method. Do I need to reinstall system software or update ps4 using usb
Nah, the weird controller has more inout delay. That’s because it’s polling rate is locked to 250hz while Bluetooth is at 1000. I guess it’s meant to be used wireless
Thanks for the confirmation as my V1 Dualshock is finally starting to wear out (left joystick, right direction) & I was hearing how when you plug in the v2 dual that it's automatically considered a wired connection (which as you know have input lag) so I was worried if I do get a new one that I'd have to suffer a input lag change every time I would use it while charging
weapons such as the one in his game are supposed to fire on the pull of "trigger" not on the hold* or release. *Full auto would be the exception but in this case is mute as he's measuring time of first pull to weapon's first fire.
You people realize he didn’t even switch over to the bluetooth method for the second test, it shows as soon as hits circle for the second test it says in on usb…… he tested usb twice😂😂 y’all got fooled… usb wired connection for the dual shock will always be more dominant over bluetooth dual shock
So I was wrong the whole time, thank you so much for proving it
I can’t believe it...the bluetooth wins over the mighty wired USB connection!
Do that test in other games pls! I can’t believe it.
It is worth considering :)
I was expecting the opposite 😂😂
The controllers are designed to play wireless. So it not surprised me

So communication method is set to usb but wireless connection then you do wired with Bluetooth communication method
So you really should start saying what settings you use on your tv/monitor. These panels already natively have input lag. Just in general

Thanks so much no more cat eating cable thanks
🤣 👍
so i guess the new controller models with the light in the middle are meant for blue tooth and the old controller models are meant for usb and wired ?
Good question. I don't know, I can only test the new controller V2.
Wow I never realized that there is so much of a delay. And our eyes can’t even see it

Can you test another controllers like 8bitdo and retro-bit for input lag?
Sorry no I don't have this controllers
@@Maksimus. this is the best retro controllers. Sad that you don't have it...
I was just having a lag problem with ps4 controller.. using a wire fixed the prob
Maybe to alot more samples to get a better average.

Underrated
How is bluetooth better?
Bluetooth connection has less latency, so the time pressing a button and the moment where start you screen moving. I don't know how and why.
How do u get usb
Id say wired if you play in the cloud
this video is wron!, playing with the controlled wire activating the option of wired controller, you get better results.
Hey Gustavo, as you can see, controller are connected and selected USB connection in second part of video
Alright so is there anyway to have the V2 dualshock 4 charge ("wired") while maintaining a bluetooth/wireless connection like the V1 controllers? 🤔
Yes, you can stay connected with bluetooth while you change with usb. It is only important to set the bluetooth setting as shown in the video

You was holding longer that wireless

u didnt change to bluetooth 🤔
First part was Bluetooth, you can see that the Controller was without cable.
@@Maksimus. gotcha

Is the input lag the same on a normal ps4 controller or lower?
Its the same
@@Maksimus. ok thx
@@Violent_. gerne ;)
is it ms delay or frame count?
Frame. 1 Frame = 4,16 ms
Bluetooth
same thing in pc?
I'm not sure
@@Maksimus. DS4Windows input lag says:
Bluetooth: 2/2.5ms
USB: 3/3.5ms
@@yukiq ok, it seems not only on ps4
@@yukiq just overclock ur controller lol
@@aledabestt already did it
How is it on xbox
Sorry, I don't know. I don't have an xbox
@@Maksimus. ok Thanks
So which?
Spoiler: Bluetooth ;)
