My friend was being sexually harassed on a subway while on the phone with her boyfriend. It started to get scary and he said "Well, what are you wearing?". She was wearing jeans and big shirt and a sweater. It was cold out. Not thatbit matters but her ex thought he should ask that While she was being accosted. I had to stop talking to her for awhile because she stayed with him. Complained all the time about him but never ever left him. He told me a lot of shit, but only two things stuck out to me: 1. "I'll get you pregnant so we'll stay together forever and you won't leave me" 2. "I'll cut them off (my boobs) if you break up with me. If I can't have them, no one else can" We were both teenagers when he said these things. I was terrified to end the relationship.

The worst, I was unable to tag him in any FB pics of our daughter. I should have left then. It wasn't until I filed for divorce that he created all new FB & IG accounts and sent friend requests. I let them sit for 3 years before declining. He wanted to cheat in peace.

My ex never fed me. Ever. He never asked me if i wanted anything to eat when we spent time together. He would make himself food and eat it in front of me. For the record, he was not tight on money by any means. We were in college but his parents were pretty well off and he got a generous monthly allowance and did not have to pay any tuition or get a job. He just didn't care about me. Thats why I left after 6 months.

A guy had come up to us wanting to sell a hand carved chess set and board for $1. It really hurt my heart to see the poverty and the struggles of these people who were actually so nice to us during our visit. He got angry at me because I wasn’t being “appreciative” of being on vacation and “could never be pleased.” They’re just cruel monsters.

When I was 17 yrs old. We had just left the hospital from visiting our newborn son in NICU. My now 23 yr old son's father stole my 24k name plate anklet my father brought me for my birthday, then blamed me for losing it. This fat psycho didn't want me, didnt want anyone else to be with me and didn't want me to have nice things, and actually told me these things. I still believe that he had it melted down to put those raggedy golds in his mouth.

Well I think that they may have bonded on both being half Hispanic. I think that when you fail to do self reflection and work after getting out of relationships, regardless of race, you will meet the same result in subsequent relationships. I think unfortunately divestment has become about dating other people outside of their race bc people think that they will be treated better, but that’s not how the world works. I don’t think necessarily that the standards are dropped, more their guard is dropped. The standards remained consistent from previous relationships that they were in just with a different race. Those stories kept getting worse. All that was stated was bad but please don’t stay with anyone that is physically abusive. And the high/low emotional rollercoaster crap is a manipulation tactic. It’s effective because your brain craves the high when you’re in the low. The more intermittent the behavior the worse the craving. Also they try to keep you around because they don’t want you to have time to sit and analyze their behavior so they keep popping up. This was so sad. I saw the hurt. For me: BF 1: was a toxic high school sweetheart. He bullied me with his friends and he let his parents be racist, cheated but convinced me he didn't, and at the end of 7 wasted years when I needed him the most he dumped me and actively tried to destroy my life. Stole my money, important memories, and cat. He was an engineer... 2nd guy: Basic narc so did all of that, was in the closet too, and when I found out my aunt was dead he went to an event that he lied and said was canceled just so I couldn't go instead of comforting me, and more 3rd ex ended up being a freaking drug addict who was fed by a silver spoon but he chose to be a thug even though he could have easily been successful. He cheated on me with prostitutes multiple times and did 3-ways as well. When I got sick and tired of him and said I would be with someone else he stole my car, destroyed it (my car I worked hard for and paid on my own), and then 7 months after we broke up he tried to contact me to see if I'd still deal with him. He ghosted me before we officially broke up. That was when I stopped dating

For the record, he was not tight on money by any means. Thats why I left after 6 months.

A guy had come up to us wanting to sell a hand carved chess set and board for $1. It really hurt my heart to see the poverty and the struggles of these people who were actually so nice to us during our visit. He got angry at me because I wasn’t being “appreciative” of being on vacation and “could never be pleased.” They’re just cruel monsters.

Her being unattainable made her a prize, but now that she has lowered herself to his level to date him, he decides that she is regular or just as low as he is, so he will treat her accordingly. Well I think that they may have bonded on both being half Hispanic. I think that when you fail to do self reflection and work after getting out of relationships, regardless of race, you will meet the same result in subsequent relationships. I think unfortunately divestment has become about dating other people outside of their race bc people think that they will be treated better, but that’s not how the world works. I don’t think necessarily that the standards are dropped, more their guard is dropped. The standards remained consistent from previous relationships that they were in just with a different race. Those stories kept getting worse. All that was stated was bad but please don’t stay with anyone that is physically abusive.
And the high/low emotional rollercoaster crap is a manipulation tactic. It’s effective because your brain craves the high when you’re in the low. The more intermittent the behavior the worse the craving.
Also they try to keep you around because they don’t want you to have time to sit and analyze their behavior so they keep popping up. It’s also why they try to isolate you from your friends so no one can contradict or analyze what they do.

Half these stories sound like something I'd tell a judge as I explained why I killed this man.

This is a positive about the internet and social media, Women sharing and helping other women wake up and see its not ok to be treated bad or to stay in a toxic relationship. Wish i had this when i was younger, I'd of ditched my ex husband 7 years earlier and not wasted years dating some genuine narcissist.
Stuff like this is why I will teach my daughter about men. I have stories similar to theirs. No woman in my family told me about men period. Men do this when us woman are young!!! We have to love our younger generation & tell them! Even if they don’t listen we still gotta let them know. I feel like sometimes older woman want us to struggle & suffer bc why wouldn’t you tell us about these men?

This was so sad. I saw the hurt. For me: BF 1: was a toxic high school sweetheart. He bullied me with his friends and he let his parents be racist, cheated but convinced me he didn't, and at the end of 7 wasted years when I needed him the most he dumped me and actively tried to destroy my life. Stole my money, important memories, and cat. He was an engineer...
2nd guy: Basic narc so did all of that, was in the closet too, and when I found out my aunt was dead he went to an event that he lied and said was canceled just so I couldn't go instead of comforting me, and more
3rd ex ended up being a freaking drug addict who was fed by a silver spoon but he chose to be a thug even though he could have easily been successful. He cheated on me with prostitutes multiple times and did 3-ways as well. When I got sick and tired of him and said I would be with someone else he stole my car, destroyed it (my car I worked hard for and paid on my own), and then 7 months after we broke up he tried to contact me to see if I'd still deal with him. He ghosted me before we officially broke up.
That was when I stopped dating
