This channel is amazing! Good editing with subtitles and you cut right into the action, without promoting ten different things and having a five minute intro. I don't really get why you don't have many subscribers. If your goal is getting more subs, maybe a presence on other social media and having an upload schedule will help!
Either way, I subscribed and am looking forward to new videos!

Wow oh my goodness, thank you so much for this comment! This honestly really means a lot 🥹
I don't have that many subscribers yet because I haven't been creating here for a long time yet. I do also create on Instagram and Tik Tok but it's a bit all over the place. I'm also trying to upload every week now! I really appreciate your advice and kind words, thank you 💛

Could you please elaborate on asking the doctor for time off? Was that your primary or some kind of therapist/psychiatrist/specialist? How did you approach the topic? Did you have a note and then just hand it to your boss/HR, which led to filling out leave documents? I don't want to look like I'm having a mental breakdown but I would really appreciate time off for mental health because work seems never ending and the culture makes it seem like that's just expected.

Yeah of course! So for me it was a regular doctor that I visited for this, I do live in Belgium (Europe) so maybe that affects things.
It's always a bit difficult to talk about something like that. I personally just got right into it and mentioned what was going on, how I was feeling. I did have a massive breakdown before and cried in front of the doctor 😅 I told them that I was feeling down, struggled to get out of bed, couldn't focus and was super exhausted plus overwhelmed. It was hard for me to get anything done..
And maybe I was a bit lucky in that I did have a doctor that asked me what I needed and whether a week off would be enough time to recover.
Then I did indeed have a note and I sent an email stating that the doctor told me to take a week off. I was a bit lucky in that at the time I was doing an internship so things were a bit "easier" in that sense. I didn't really need to handle any extra documents.
I know it's not as understood by everyone but mental health is so important. If you need some time off and CAN take the time off, I really recommend it. If it's something you have to deal with often, maybe try to find a way that work is less mentally rough on you, if that's possible?
Sending you lots of love and I hope you can figure things out! Let me know if you have any other questions 💛
