I've failed and failed and failed quitting alcohol a thousand times. But I keep getting up again. Currently sober and running my 4th 1/marathon. If I can do it anyone can. Don't give up on any of your struggles. I get up at 4 am weights or running by 5 am. Go get it. I'm 62 and I'm crushing it. Oh I also got Covid and had a minor stroke 3 years ago. Won't let it stop me!
While you keep trying nothing's lost yet, despite you've failed it so many times... Perseverance even failing is still progress, it's part of the process, not giving up even in the worst times is the only thing that matters, only persevering you'll get out of there. I wish you the best...

Allow myself to heal emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. I've just arrived at the gym starting from 186 pounds or 130kgs and am committing to eating healthy, hydrating, getting enough sleep, stop scrolling too much and just allowing myself to be ok. @@edwardhovitz1753this is on point. i’m reading a really good book, a bit niche, called How to Break Your Addiction to a Person and they point out that often times because of childhood we look to others/external validators to confirm we exist. It’s a pattern and a habit and when you become aware of it as an adult you can realize that it is irrational. And it is too much to expect of the world. The negative emotional response is conditioning, much like a dog is conditioned. I’ve been trying to use that fear feeling as an indicator to go into it. I work in EMS (Paramedic) I listen to this EVERY DAY at 4:00AM when I am getting ready for work, and then again when I get home to get me off my ass and to the gym. Love you, Jocko. Like so many others, you have changed my life. Stay on the warpath, brothers. Stay strong. ❤
First day starting my run routine was this morning and I just recently got 5 months alcohol free. No more excuses for me. No more blaming stuff I didn't do on my "anxiety" or on my childhood because it doesn't matter. If you want it you can have it! I just turned 36 and I will not be shackled No longer 🙏💪💯
I've been althletic since age 10. But at age 40, last year I realized there are edges I am unwilling to push through. Last Nov '23 I stopped running inside for the fall and winter. I hate cold. After running every day outside, no matter the weather, after 6 months the misery of the cold is my new friend. My mantra each morning is "this sucks...and that's why it takes people like you to do it"
I’ve been at my lowest the past few weeks, lost…I choose to fight and live. Thank you, thank you. I’m testing in two days for a dream firefighter job. I may be successful, I may not. I will be better. Fight…
For me the biggest mindset change came after reading the book 25 Money Secrets From Donald Trump, since reading it the only thing I think about is money
Absolutely empowering! The concept of 'extreme ownership' that Jocko talks about is a powerful takeaway for personal and professional growth. This video is a great tool for anyone looking to take full responsibility for their life.

On December 24,2021, I almost died by falling hard and couldn't walk but crawling. Went to the hospital to recover and went to rehabilitation near Fort Sam Houston Texas to get my strength 💪 back. Went back home by mid February and had a physical therapist came by for my exercises. After this, I performed 100 bed situps and 100 wheelchair ♿ push-ups for six months. Now I have a routine daily with dumbbells Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays along with stretch bands. I'm an overcomer.
This is one of the most important chanels on youtube and the internet. A deep thank you from a guy that need this chanel as a motivator in life. I will make myself and the good people around me very proud.
I was almost two months sober. I lacked 2 days from two months. the alcohol that broke my sobriety wasn't worth it. "it sucked." I still find myself picking up the bottle. I'm 30 years young and can only go two days without drinking. Without spilling my guts out. I'll tell you, when you are sick and tired of being sick and tired you will get better. It has to be YOU though. No one can make you put a bottle down or make you quit a habit. Stay strong and be sober, take it one day at a time. Don't feel bad if you fall... rest, and clime back up. Don't quit because when you do the drug will KILL you. I'm going to wake up tomorrow and try a little bit harder... start with 24 hrs.. Don't look at other people's milestones; set your own records and work off those.. That's my two cent.
Proud of you bro, I’ll make sure to say a prayer for you, keep fighting, keep marching on, and never give in to the devil, you can and will win this battle of life no matter the obstacles. ✊ never stop fighting for what matters to you
I'm late here. Whoever reads this hope it's an inspiration though. I'm a veteran but after a painful divorce and I went through a bad period of alcoholism and gaining weight. Became a diabetic. How many years later I don't drink and I've lost 156 lb and I can nearly fit back into my boot camp uniform from nearly 50 years ago and I'm off insulin. You can do it but it starts with you not someone else. Be the change for yourself and I guarantee you it will reflect on others around you also. No matter what stay positive
