I just got the 2021 stock in the feb 2022.. I think it is a very good deal since perodua give me 2 years free service (labours and oil change) as they want to clearance last year stock.. thank you perodua.. Tak kisah pon stock lama asalkan dpt free service
happy one year wapcar's ativa because this car is very awesome especially the platform and the gearbox and the turbocharged engine this car performs in corners after i watch ys video especially in genting highlands roads
H variant 4 months on. City driving and commuting not fuel efficient. Full tank can go above 400km in city. Managed to get average mileage to 13.8 post outstation trip but short city driving and commuting has brought it down to 13.1 where it all began. Auto stop start is annoying if I forget to press the button to deactivate. Back seats not comfortable for long rides especially for tall people. Love the back camera and sensors. Lane keep makes you use signalling. Nifty enough for easy parking. Love the height. Will need to insulate eventually for a more silent drive.
12.2 averaged same with me…. City drive only and uphill downhill…. No doubts to drive. For Ativa is for suitable single life or no more than 4 family members. Of coz we can’t expecting much as low budget Suv…. Try before full passengers with 5 full size. For the behind middle like roti clamp feel not comfortable. Overall the power is still able to bring up and pickup well on uphill slow traffic conditions.
Really attractive car for the price it's being sold at. That said... the 3 cylinder engine is bound to have excessive vibration due to it's asymmetric piston movements. Just a matter of time until the engine mounting needs to be replaced. If I have to choose, I'll go for the top-spec MyVi instead if only because of the 4 cylinder engine layout. BTW, thanks for the very informative update, WapCar.
@@morpheusmorph13 haha. Can't really go wrong with either, IMHO. I'd go for the one that excites me the most (provided it's within my budget), simply cause I'd be able to forgive its faults. Cool name BTW ;-)
I think wapcar forgot to mention something for their long review such as: 1. Engine bottom carrier(cover) 2. Tyre rotating since Ativa come with such expensive rubber wheel, as Ativa owner have to take extra care of it 😅
Wow, yall are letting it go after making 13 videos only? As an Ativa owner, i'd say the execution on perodua's part is still very poor. Perodua definitely didnt disappoint in reminding us that the Ativa is STILL a Perodua. Comfort wise, the ativa loses out badly to even older cars like the 5th Gen City (2008). There's barely any padding on the floor and you can feel the tiniest bumps even on smooth surfaces such as parking floors, imagine going over grainy rough roads. Sound insulation isn't great either, if it goes over rough parking ramps, the sound literally crashes into the cabin, even at low speeds. (try the mrt park n ride BU powerhouse basement parking ramp and you know what i mean). Suspension is so stiff that it transmit even the smallest bumps into the cabin that it shakes dashboard and plastic door fittings lose, causing rattle sounds. And speaking of engine vibration, honestly i wish more reviewers pointed this out, yes the engine vibrates on idle but what needed to be highlighted as well, is engine vibrations even when moving and travelling at or below 1.6k rpm. Since the CVT has a preference to drive below 2k rpm, a slow relax drive is challenging to enjoy. Since sound insulation is still lacking, the vibration is actually audible as a rumbling sound. ACC and LKC, poorly executed. ACC brakes wayyyy too hard and accelerates up to 3k rpm just to catch up. LKC for some strange reason loosens up the steering, making high speed driving even more difficult, because the steering feels like its slipping left or right, i end up having to make more left and right adjustments. I know its wishful thinking and will never happen in a million years, but Perodua or Daihatsu needs to update the ACC and LKC software. Yes its still a budget SUV but the AV pricing is already above the lowest spec Yaris and at the lowest spec City. Perodua's execution needs to reflect the level of Honda's and Toyota's. I'm not asking for perfection, but there's so many fundamental areas that Perodua could've picked to focus on, in ensuring a good execution.
Such a small guy make the vehicle seems larger than it is when estimating the dimensions. Bring a larger guest to help properly "see" the vehicle as it is. Better yet, just bring 3 guy with different size bodies.
4750 can comfortably afford a 60k car? Even a 30k car is too expensive. Unless intending to work till death, 4750 really can afford only an ex5. When I was at 6000, I bought only an 8.8k used car. There is a dot between the two 8s.
Ativa or City? I'll choose City. More fuel efficient, powerful engine. Lower maintenance costs. Better NVH. More spacious. Around 20k more expensive if want to get Honda Sensing. Not a fan of small SUV because it doesn't make sense. Get a Myvi instead of this Ativa. Just my 2 cents ✌️.

one year? damn how fast time flies
Oh man..how fast time past, time for Ativa to go 😢
As an Ativa owner myself, fully agree with your the 1year review summary

But, driving position in myvi is not favoured
@@atulahmad8758 agreed, a little too cramped for me. At that price point, I guess some compromises are unavoidable.
@@undudeme currently cant decide which to choose ativa X or new Myvi 1.3g

Which brand or model head unit recommend for upgrade?
I let go 1.0 turbocharger for 2.2ltr turbodiesel.. nevertheless it's fun one year with Ativa👍
Hi, my Ativa produced a weird sound gas leaking sound and whistling sound when i accelerate. May I know what’s wrong with my car?
What brand is the Apple car play replaced?

Is this car good to drive to Genting highlands with full occupancy?
May I ask, what is your next car will be Adrian since you already let go your Ativa?
My Honda City is 5 years old and it is still under 30,000 km. So how can 20,000 km be the average?

rm4750 to comfort buying a ativa...so if gaji just rm2000? motor Ex5??
Gaji RM2k get cars below RM40k, Proton Saga or Perodua Axia/Bezza.
Yes Ex5. Fuel is too expensive

72k rm? That's freaking cheap.. compare to Singapore cars
Good SUV
