I've seen a few of the roundtables he's been on leading up to the Golden Globes and he's that type of person. Always in awe of who's around him. It's refreshing to see that in a younger generation of Hollywood. (The roundtables I'm referring to were by The Hollywood Reporter and Los Angeles Times.)

The fact that both Priscilla and Lisa Marie are there supporting him & touched their hearts, almost at the same time, while hearing Austin, just shows that he deserves everything and more from this film. You can feel how much that meant to both of them. Especially when Austin mentioned memories, Priscilla really took that in. 🖤

This young man earned this, he submerged himself into this role for over two years and it paid off. Which brings me to my next point, his voice, people need to understand that he went so deep with this part, lived it for so long that he lost himself a little, he's having trouble losing the twang at times. But his very low natural speaking voice is damn near, octively, similar to Elvis' anyway, he can't help that.

Just 2 days after this Golden Globe honoring this wonderful Elvis film, his daughter Lisa Marie dies at 54 RIP 🙏 survived by her mother Priscilla and her children. I encourage all who haven't seen Austin's film on Elvis to do so. If even half of that was true that Tom Hanks trapped Elivis and worked him that hard it is truly sad, and I can't help to wonder why she passed right after being able to honor her father with this film.
