- My blue throat macaw Jinx reacts to seeing Morgan the camelot macaw again for the first time after one year. Their reactions to one another were MUCH different! Haha!

I love how Jinx puts up with Morgan. I feel like if he could talk he would be saying "Oh man she is back, I'm going to need a beer."
I'm sure he'd split the beer with her.. they're good buddies.

When Jaimie's all like, "look, it's Morgan, aren't you excited, Jinxi? :D" Jinx's just like, "eh, she's nice, but she's no JamieLeigh. I mean her feathers cant even change colors like yours can! Plus you have the treats hookup always on standby, how can any other bird compete with that combination? I've made my choice and I'm sticking with it! 💖🐦" 😄

Jamie, you must sleep very deeply at the end of each day. You are right though about your health, so I hope you listen to your body and it's need for REAL REST. It's nice to see Morgan back in the fold, and she did a supreme job with her flight training. Jinx is such a trooper, I love it when he calls himself Bubba, it always brings a smile to my face. Great video!
I enjoy your birds and videos so much....your commitment to them is a beautiful thing to see. We have a double yellow headed amazon named Crash...and he’s been watching as well lol

Just recently found your channel and watched the whole story of Morgan. "Bok-bok" as a nickname for Morgan was trained by Jinx. As he would get treats for saying "Bubba," Morgan paid close attention to the reasons that he was getting treats, and began to attempt to repeat what he'd said. Since it was encouraged and she was treated, she's been "Bok-bok" ever since. It's so cute!
I cracked up when it looked like Morgan was going to walk the length of the enclosure.

Yes, it’’s so obvious that she’s way more confident with her flying and she looks like she’s enjoying herself. How wonderful!! And I just LOVE when Jinx says “bubba”. Makes me laugh every time!

One thing I like about your flight videos is that you show that flying isn't a given for captive birds. We tend to think "they're birds, this is as natural for them as breathing", but it's actually not. It's a skill they have to learn and continually work on keeping.

That cough seems to have been hanging around a while now - perhaps time to get it checked out (just to be on the safe side).
It was definitely the thing that wouldn't go away but its gone now.

I'm one of those people that when i get sick and get a cough it sticks around for a long time, sometimes months. Understand how annoying and frustrating it can be... glad to hear its gone!

It's probably antropomorfism but she looks so confident now, really great to see! Patience and taking it one step at a time is paying off big time and the progress is now coming fast because of the great groundwork you have layed. Soo great that you make it visible for people to see that it's all about the abc's before the words, then the sentences and maybe finally, after lots of time and practise, the beautiful poems 😊

And... i'm really hoping you'll find a way to keep your daughter and her quaker shadow stay together. They seem to fit and your little girl is young but you have instilled such knowledge and skills in her already that i'm sure she is up to the job! With such great help around her, how can she not... having this kind of bond is rare, so i'm hoping to one day see a video with a very happy capri learning that they will not have to say goodbye...

Can I take this opportunity to thank you very much: I really liked to own a caique because, from the outside (and what the breeder told me), they are so easy to handle, clean, gentle, etc. So I was hyped to get a caique! Then I did some research and eventually found your channel.
Your Chi Chi series opened my eyes on the care, training, and dedication it takes to get a well behaved, well-mannered and above all, HAPPY bird and I simply don't have the time. So I'll thank you on behave of the bird I could have bought. I hope it finds an owner that does have time for my favorite bird species! Someday I will get one when it fits in my life, but in the meantime, I'll watch more of your video's and get a better understanding of our feathery friends :)

@@joepnijveld Wat goed dat je het je daardoor realiseerde. Er komt vast ooit een tijd dat het wel kan, vogels vragen echt heel veel aandacht en hou er rekening mee dat je meubels/ kleding/ alles onder witte schilvers van de veren komt te zitten en wil je dat wel. Ik had 12 grote parkieten in een grote huiskamer voliere, als ik thuis was waren hun los, het was soms een grote bende ( soms 6x per dag stofzuigen en dweilen/ lappen ( vogelpoep). Maar het was wel reuze gezellig, altijd vrolijk, zaten op takken voor het raam naar buiten te kijken. Kijk vooral rond op vogel/ kromsnavel forums en lees je helemaal in, kijk ook of er bij jou in de buurt een vogel dierenarts is ( ornitholoog) want die weet meer dan een gewone dierenarts. Nogmaals onwijs goed dat je besloten hebt het ( nog) niet te doen. 👍

For the first time in 40 years I have not been owned by a bird. I am so glad that I stumbled upon your channel. I've had everything from budgies to a red lored amazon...he passed away at the beginning of the year. Jinx is such a handsome fella, what type of macaw is he?

You remind me of this dog trainer (Victoria Stilwell) because you both have such a genuine passion and joy when working with your animals, and I appreciate that so much. It guarantees and enjoyable video, and as long as your still having fun and fueling that passion, you’re videos will always entertain!

10:59 it was Jinx who taught Morgan "Bubba".
You had them both out and were giving Jinx treats for saying "Bubba". Morgan was watching him earn treats. After a few times, she started saying "bub uhb" or something like the "bok bok" she was doing in this vid (not quite "Bubba").
I remember it because I was super impressed with her ability to learn from both you and Jinx.
17:05 "go" might be the cue for takeoff, but "ready" looked like the cue to lift her wings in a ready position, the 2 times you showed it.

I have always loved Macaws they are one of the most gorgeous birds. Why are the tail feathers so much long on Morgan than Jinx is it b/c she's older or due to clipping?
She's a different type of macaw that has scarlet in her which have really long tails, Jinx is a blue throat which is a smaller type of macaw.
Loved the video, but gosh those Conures kept capturing my attention. I miss my Jendays, with my first one, Hercules, passing of old age and my second/latest, Kelly, almost at his one year anniversary of free flying somewhere in NJ or PA, so it's really nostalgic to hear that unholy screeching ;v;
Never bothered me as much, even though I'm sensitive to some sounds (autism), but my family was not a major fan of such loud noise coming from tiny babies.
Next bird in the house, whenever that is, will not be a Sun, Jenday, nor similar loud tiny baby, per my parents' demands. Won't be a large bird either, but I know I'm nowhere near ready to care for a big baby.
I'll probably talk non-stop about the next bird to come to the house (if that happens, who knows), even if you don't see me in here.
I guess my main point is that your Sun Conures are adorable. One day I want to be able to care for all parrots, especially those that have spent too much time in cruddy homes/too many different homes.
With my adhd and recently diagnosed autism, it will be some time before I can act on those dreams, even though I'm twenty one now. However, I want to be able to trust parrots and have them trust me one day in return!
So keep up the amazing work! It's clear how much your babies love you, and it beautiful to watch every update!

I love what you're doing. Honestly what you do for you're birds is amazing. That you understand them so well and love then so much. It's so heart warming that there are people that love their birds this much.
