My male caique does those baby wing flaps all the time. He gets all puffy and cuddly. It's soooo cute

Thank you for mentioning the “wing flap” my Macaw does it ALL the time and I thought he did it to show aggression! I looked it up and couldn’t find any information
My alexandrine parakeet called mom after 2 years of having him, i was awstruck cause he didn't speak much till date but now he is doesn't keep his mouth shut.
There are two things that I see in Jinx is that he is curious about everything did he get into a lot of mischief when he was younger? The other is that he loves making you all laugh.
When I had my Cockatiel he was motivated by things that made us laugh as well, as a treat or two.

Love when Jinx calls himself Ba Ba, and when he Woo Woo's. So funny towards the end when he flew, then came back with a startled look, Jinx is a definite favorite, but to be honest I really love all your birds. Jamie, Thank you for giving me a giggle, and see you soon.

Just saw my first baby Blue Throated Macaw today. I saw a tone of exotic birds at the local pet shop today. I was in awe. One was a giant gorgeous Ecclectus. WOW I heard a loud squawk squawk and asked Brandon, the owner, who was the loud mouth. Yup you guessed it. He was absolutely adorable. Feathers just starting to grown in. I asked how much. $5,000! WOW they sure have gone up. Saw a baby African Grey too. Adorable. He/she kept staring at me. They had a lot of perdy birdies there. Good thing I’m not wealthy. I’d have an aviary.

I’m not sure really how I came across your videos . I’m a bird person and belong to the Long Island Parrot Society or New York, i go grooming and boarding or petsitting of all animals and I’ve fallen in love with A Helping Wing, a bird sanctuary in NJ. To add more I advocate and instruct new owners of what it takes to have a parakeet as opposed to a parrot, and I belong to the newer groups popping up about feeding you birds pellets, fresh food and sprouts, along with foraging. I could name a few people but I’m just expressing my bird exposure as of now.
I love the free flight method you guys do and want to get more into that. That may very well be how I found you but what ever the case I Found You!! And am ecstatic of that!!! Birds have wings for a reason and all the foraging is great but to free fly is the top of the top!!! Thank you guys for what you do.
In the meantime, I may have to break from my bird interests to go back to the medical field but I WILL be back.

My kakariki makes those fun robotic movements too, and it reminds me of Jinx so much!
My conure is the same way when I go on vacation or something. I HAVE to just chill next to his cage for a bit before I dare touch him. He gets butthurt that I would ever leave him 😂

I finally seen a few blue throated macaw parrots at the State Fair of Texas last year and I took a few pics of them
My GCC does wing flips when he's super happy and cozy too. I love it!
My GCC sometimes sits all nestled under my chin and goes to sleep 😍 But spends the other 99% of the time being a complete brat. 😂
Is he heavy? He looks heavy. He has such beautiful coloring! Wow!
Joann Monkey Well all of his bones are hollow so he shouldn’t be any more than about 3 pounds I wouldn’t put him as weighing much more than a chicken

I can’t get over how you can touch your birds like you do and play with them. That’s the HUGE advantage of being able to get a baby. So precious. My dear Jacob was a rehome. All I knew about him was the previous owner didn’t want him. Said he was mean.

omg my quaker does the same thing, he hits me with his beak and growls 😂😂 mostly when he wants to be picked up and taken somewhere, hopefully when his flight feathers grow it he may grow out of it

my Indian ringneck does the finger moving thing too, when I ask him to step up I would put my hand an inch away from him so he would step away if he doesn't want to step up, but if wants to step up he would grab my finger and pull it closer to him and then steps up, which is so cute !! He only does it when I wanna take him out of his cage though !
I also love it when my Greenwing groom's my hair, it's a bit ouchie but it's because she loves me.
Personally I live the 'Woooo' my Lulu does it to. Macaws have such a hilarious accent. Not the best talkers but can't beat the enthusiasm 💕

I can’t believe you got a high yellow Camelot for $750! My Catalina was a rescue and was $3,000. I looked at a high yellow Catalina and it was $6,500.
