- Today I am going to show you how to build a simple mech that can slowly walk around in space engineers. this video is going to show you how easy building a mech really is and that anyone can do it.

Yes you could use suspension wheels to get better grip, I would recommend the 3x3

Thats one way to do it I guess I will say the Gyro setting are interesting but you could preset the walk with a timer if you grouped the legs into one group and set the timer to triger the legs and it self so it does an infinite loop then all you need to do is put the timer on the quick bar as on/off

It works.
Rotor and hinge speeds as in the video, timer repeat at 1 second. Trigger now and stop on the hud bar.

I'm late to the party but I absolutely dig this. I did notice that it doesn't have much grip but after replacing the heavy armor panels on the feet with magnetic plates, it seems to grip a lot better.

Any chance you could take on the challenge of making a mech for mining or lifting stuff? The counter balancing of a drill seems very difficult.

if you do this on large grid use suspension wheels for feet or, your walker will eat through the ground

you defiantly can use landing pad legs, but it dose get rocky if you want to use landing pads to stick to walls

yes I forgot to add in the bonus clip, but if you had a drop ship or hover pad you could drop out from the ship and skydive while shooting from above!

little bit critique here: make the music a bit more silent and your voice a little louder. The music nearly drowns your voice out.(as you did when you came to the gyro setup)
Yeah honestly I do think I need to get better at mixing audio, I try to dip the audio when explaining important things. I do make my own music so I’ll make them more in the background for videos to come. I do find this background music to be bit louder than usual lol. Thanks for the critique. Critiques are always welcome!!!
@@mrpickles3825 i would keep music in the backround in general unless you make a timelaps(hope thats written correctly) without commentating. There tje music can take over😁
