Thanks to Prof. Bimol and Prof. Bhagat for coming in. Your thoughtful address on the issue was awaited. We were eagerly waiting from the last few weeks and your opinion and presence in the media information has given us a sense to understand better. We have been hearing Dr. Suan and others from a long time. Now it seems fair with both of your presence.
Internet bandh by the Govt. was confined mostly in the valley. There are eports found published in the print media mentioning IP address of constant internet access pointing churachandpur, enabled them to cook fake information and fetch propagandas.
Illegally imposed Highway bandh for more than a month by Kuki militants is still neglected by the Govt. The result of which is a havoc, creating common people to suffer price hike and adding a fuel to this crisis. Remember, there are other tribal groups living in the valley who equally suffers by this nature of the Kuki atrocities.
False narrative and fake news that were circulated by their united trolls (Kuki Zou people) since the begining of the crisis advanced them to convince the nation and global media houses in a wrong way, initially. Now it is being countered because Meiteis even lately have started to come in, outside Manipur and counter those false narratives.When meiteis had no chance to feed their opinion timely due to internet bandh, they availed the opportunity to mislead the world with propagandas to achieve the preset political goal. Unfairly locked by depriving access of road on Highway and information through internet in a geographically landlocked valley of Manipur, Meiteis had to face the challenges to counter those false narratives. Now in media and other space, Meiteis are voicing for peace to prevail by avoiding furtherance of blame game. It is understandable that there may be many raw visuals captivated in mobiles of valley people too, which are not yet in the public domain, due to internet bandh imposed by Govt. to de-escalate the tensions. It does not mean that whatever politically blended opinion and visual narratives fetched by the radicalised kuki groups on internet will remain articulated to be the truth in national and international domain. On contrary, other side of the story will also come out and national media might also have known this, I believe. It is not good to use the footage for building narratives to fetch propaganda, which we see very often on TH-cam and social media being uploaded by them (Kuki radicals). I hope Meiteis will not do that and rather co-operate in providing for investigation to the agencies.
The denial of holding talks to bring solution on one hand and self segregation of 10 MLA demanding for separate administration is very questionable. Now they are also suspected by the general public as a part of the frame of this crisis and they appear to have tactically handled to achieve their political demand. We are now compelled to think that this crisis may have some association with their preset political goals manufactured to malign, and to victimise the Meiteis.
Meiteis fairly says the unfortunate incident of burning in the capital imphal was the consequence of the anger fetched by torching of Meitei villages at Torbung, Churachandpur and Moreh and the violence erupted evening in the presence of AR nearby at Moreh on May 3rd 2023. We still condemn those violent brutal actions on innocent civilians. Innocence from both sides are still struggling to attain a normal life. We urge the Govt. for immediate intervention to restore peace, and that is only possible when the ground rule breaker SoO millitants are flushed out, Gun looters, Gun keepers are fully seized from both sides, barking gangs (propagandist) are booked and planning suitable relief measures to the camp before the hit of monsoon.
Mind it, every Meitei is not represented by Meitei Leepun and Araambai Tengol and sorry, you and your people do not have the courage to voice against the atrocities of SoO millitants who still exploits their own innocent people imposing penalties to involve in violence, forcing young ones to get addicted to drugs openly in the town, extorting businessmen, poor drivers and tourists for money, which I think is an open secret. You the so called elite of your own community backed with separatists agenda to nurture the establishment of a Neo Golden Triangle, had never allowed the poor section of your people to vote freely. How come we expect something good when you are very much rigid and quite adamant in terms of a proposal for reconciliation, and you people go on imposing terms and conditions to hamper the process of talk. It is greatly felt that talk and reconciliation should freely be allowed to the innocent victims and the true sufferers of both the ends who used to stay as together because there may still be a room for them to respond with love and respect. We don't see any scope from the elite and learned persons who are decked with some political ambitions.
Common people and villagers love one another and I think only the people with certain political goal spread this hatredness from both the sides.We should always remember that innocent lives of the victim from both sides matters the most. We rather should focus on the urgent need to save them from the shoot out of any disasters liable to occur on mental and physical illness coupled with epidemics or diseases with the onset of severe monsoon in the state.
Sir , Bimol we respect your valuable words , we need a good mind like you to save Manipur.

A lots of love for Prof Akoijam Bimol and Prof Bhagat. They denied the violence and condemned the current scenario and try to figure out a solution to conclude the riots. Blaming each other shall not bring peace and harmony in the State. I believe it’s the Govt who let this terrible incident happened for so long. My deepest condolences for bereaved families during the clashes. May peace prevail in the State….

It appears that you prefer to hear optimistic rhetoric about peace and other matters while disregarding the harsh realities on the ground. Merely expressing "peace, peace" in the media will not be effective unless one thoroughly examines the challenges that hinder peace. Those who stated that the weapons looted by Arambai Tenggol and Meetei Leepun must be returned and that the Chief Minister, under whose leadership these acts of violence occurred, should resign on moral grounds to enable a transparent and unbiased investigation, were indeed correct.

Although the idea is novel, considering the nature of violence and taking into account the context of Manipur, implementation of that 'novel idea' is not feasible.
Peace is possible. You have to ask yourself. Peace starts with you. Kukis suffered a lot in Manipur from earlier clashes with Naga, paitei etc. Stop the violence and let's try to move forward to peace

How Kuki could killed students illogical because All total 12 Universities combined of 3 central Universities i.e Manipur University,Central Agriculture University, National Sport University;,5 State Universities,1 private University and 3 Institute of National Institute.i.e IIIT,NIT,Regional Institute of Medical Sciences all are located in Imphal which is a place majority by Meitei.
