The calm and composed nature of Ma'am Houzel and not putting up with blame game or pointing fingers speaks in volume.
Being a resident of Manipur currently staying away from home is certainly not blind enough to the fact that the state media is completely one sided never covering both aspects. Not only the state media, on the other hand, the civilians getting access to internet, there has been circulation of false news all over whatsapp status, instagram, fb and twitter.
This is something to be pondered upon.

Why the ten MLA kuki not go to peace talk in Imphal ? Answer is simple look back at the very beginning of the conflict when one kuki MLA go to imphal for peace talk with the CM. He is still in Delhi Hospital(3days at icu) where they have to take care him like anewborn,(he cannot remember things)would he ever come back to normal?
This is why every community hates you people. You people always try to make up story and will tell like a real incident.

It is Hoinu madam who baselessly blamed meitei community saying that meiteis started the violence when everyone knows that violence epicenter was at Churachandpur. Instead she misled the viewers by saying violence started in Imphal in 3rd May night. Whereas all other penalists including one tribal professor talked about about peace and ways to bring peace. I have never heard of Promod until The Wire's interview. And no ,we don't worship Biren Or any politician for that matters. Majority of the people are busy just to make ends meet and also one's ideology doesn't necessarily represent even a fraction of what our society believes.

I'd say Hoinu is sensible in talks about peace and however her starting point of this violence has missed the real precursor which is at torbung bangla. She only narrates the mob attacks in imphal, which was actually a retaliation. Also she mentioned about kukis following the ethics, which may be true only for some but not for all. Professor Bhagat made a very inportant point, police didnt function properly in churachandpur. They didnt deliver
The last sentence as Prof Bhagat quoted citing the Mahabharata epic is candid enough. Let good sense prevail among the people to bring peace in the beautiful land of Manipur which was once ruled by the Gandharva kings, beneviolent Rajas and Maharajas as we learned from ancient history of India ...

Such a humble , loyal, humanitarian , peace loving and such a great understanding metei leader we really need a true leader like him whose intention is to only bring peace in manipur regardless of his community or where he came from.i really salute you sir, i have never seen or watched such a humble leader in the news interview videos..the other leaders only speaks anger which will only creat chaos among the people and also the two women such an understanding persons who intend only to spread love, peace and understanding among the people.. I wish we have majority of the leaders like them so that these killings and unfilthy act will stop in the beautiful state of manipur without the help of anyone or any leaders.... How can Meitei give up the land that Meitei ancestor lived in and gave their lives to protect from Prehistory? Only language Kuki terrorist understand is force.

Prof Oinam has valid point - the level of anger amongst the general public of the Meitei is higher than that of the Kuki
The reason is that the Meitei society has been brainwashed, radicalised and prepared surreptitiously, proving the point that the entire violence was engeneered. Once the radicalization is found mature, , the violence was ignited.
Meiteis narrative is they are owner of Manipur. Kukis are tanents. They are Jamindar as seen Bodhchandra Maharaja's first Queen was a daughter of a Jamindar of Orissa. Their question is can a tanent became a Jamindar. Kukis required to answer before eviction from their field.
It's a narrative coined by the Nagas. The whole drama was staged by the Kukis. If you see how and where it started.

Those crimes had its epicenter at CCpur that itself shows how this violence has been perpetuated.
Epicenter of murder was in Imphal where brutal massacre of innocent tribals took place. Not a single meitei was harmed at Lamka.

A very important finding that it is “ an operation “ by certain rules and ethics followed by those inflicting this riot is an eye opener . @Prof Bhagat, rightly pointed out. The majority of Common indigenous Kuki people never like to be separated from their meitei brethren with whom they have lived harmoniously. The vast Kuki population has been silenced, exploited and victimised by the so called armed groups. Their voice, sorrows, plight have been masked by the ferocity of the militants.
I beg to differ!.. Seperate Administration was never an agenda at any point of time prior to Violence. Injustice upon injustice by encroaching on tribal settlement, bulldozing villages, Encroachment on the garb of reserve or protected forest ect. flouting all norms and process provided by the law of land and incessant hate speech, communal incitement by Biren and what not!! On top of it all, the targeted killings by meitei radicals is the last staw.
Every sane person with the right mind will want the right to self determination. It will always be justified.

Problem started when Meitei miscreants vandalised & set on fire Kuki-Anglo War Memorial Gate at Kangvai on May 3 after 3 PM!
Meanwhile, the govt of Myanmar has sent a notification to all the Myanmarese who have been taking refuge in India to comply with some important points:
1. To avoid unnecessary involvement in political and administrative matters of the state where they're taking refuge.
2. Not to get involved in illegal trafficking of drugs and related matters.
3. To stay away from any prejudicial acts to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of India.
4. To live in harmony and appropriately with host communities and follow th rules regulated in the villages where they are temporarily residing for security reasons in Myanmar.
Let's wait and see if they are truly obedient to their Govt's order or not.

Wasbir as to the issue of separate administration, it was the outcome of the pushing of the Kuki-Zo to the political wall where no other option is left, you should also understand that The Kangleipak area or original Manipur has been made Kuki-Zo free as a result of this ethnic cleansing. This was what the Meiteis had planned to have and it is now here. Going back to the old status quo ante will give the Meiteis another opportunity to execute the ethnic cleansing at a time and place of their choice. The only way out is separate administration, which will ensure prevention of such ethnic cleansing being conducted again.
