Currently I use Adobe's PDF Compressor tool but you need an account for all the functions and even then, it's got limitations on the number of times you can use it. Thanks again.
Word of advise, in terms of compressing files. Maybe avoid using third party free web sources. Mainly due to the fact your uploading confidential and personal sensitive information document to a website. Maybe use the free 7 day trial version provided by Adobe Acrobat to compress safely. Then just cancel your membership. I think maybe worth mentioning since the I 864 form has many personal info. You don’t wana get it leaked. But other wise thank you so much for your excellent and detailed videos. It’s helping everyone ❤

Hi @kseniya , when i login to my ceac, it doesn’t have a section for documents. It just has Fees, Review and Sign. So there’s no actual place to upload the documents. Is this an issue? Because we have since been called for an interview and no officer mentioned anything about it. The interview was only rescheduled so we could bring a missing tax document.

If I don't have the transcript and I have to upload the 1099 and the 1040 but the 1040 file is almost 9 MB how do I reduce it to 2 MB. After compressing it only reduces to 8 MB. The 1040 has 13 pages because of the Schedules. And another question is, do I need to upload the 1099 and the 1040 all together as one document? Because that would be a bigger file.

The way I did mine was, I typed it in the computer, and then I printed the signature page and signed it. I scanned and uploaded the signature page, and I added it to the I-864 on a 3rd party website. So, my I -864 just has the added signature page at the end. I’ll let you know if they accepted that.

If you encounter this error (Select a File: Invalid Image Detected) while uploading supporting documents, you have to create a copy of the PDF and reupload it in order to clear the error.

Yes! You can find it when you go to USCIS website and type in the search bar. Example; Form i-864. Or simple you can have it when you log in to your CEAC account as she had opened, Hover the pointer to where it says Affidavit of support and a list will pop down. From that list, will be info on how to download it. I hope this helps

Think of it this way, do the people who live in the same apartment complex as you count as household members? If you live in different apartments, technically, that’s two different households.

How do you fill I-864 ? Do you take print of the form, fill it by hand, sign it and Scan it and then upload it?

The U.S consulate email me that they can't find the AOS I uploaded into CEAC and submitted on behalf of my son.

Yes! You can find it when you go to USCIS website and type in the search bar. Example; Form i-864. Or simple you can have it when you log in to your CEAC account as she had opened, Hover the pointer to where it says Affidavit of support and a list will pop down. From that list, will be info on how to download it. I hope this helps

For proof of domicile, I submitted a light bill.
Also, you don’t need to submit 3 tax transcripts; just the most recent.
I’m a little confused. I just sent a package last week with i-485, i-130, i-864 and i-765. With i-864 I attached all the documents needed. Will I still have to go online and go through this process? Do I wait for them to create an account or do I need to do this right away?

my husband is receiving help from his mother and . They are both Americans, and live in the same building in different apartments. Which of the two options should I complete the Joint Sponsor or Household Member?
Think of it this way, do the people who live in the same apartment complex as you count as household members?
If you live in different apartments, technically, that’s two different households.
