    Dusty, You Da Man! I'm a Expert Zoom User and Trainer. As one trainer to another, this is hands down the best TH-cam Basic Tutorial on Zoom I've ever come across. In fact, I just finished a one on one training 90 minute training session tonight. I provided my student with a link to your video as refresher/reference because I took him down the rabbit hole pretty far and covered everything from basics to advanced. Thank you for your time and effort in providing this much needed tool.

    One of the best training videos I've seen. And I am very picky. Not talking too much, great pace, only whats relevant, dynamic, great voice! definitely saving this to my list. Thank you!

    I watched a few Zoom videos as well as a several Google Meet videos trying to make up my mind as to which would be most suitable for the high school classes I teach. The thoroughness of this video was as if you created it based on questions you knew I'd have. Areas which other videos didn't explore or failed to elaborate on adequately were covered nicely here. I feel so much more comfortable with Zoom now that I've seen this video. On behalf of the many teachers who are seeking immediate professional development on using these video conferencing platforms to facilitate online instruction, thank you... thank you... thank you!

    We are all new to zoom and you will always get a wide spread of responses from a big audience but its a very good introduction. Knowing in advance that users could slow down the playback speed, if they are not a young, fluent, American speaker, would be a distinct advantage. Good job, well done Dusty!

    I think Dusty's speed of delivery is just right (contrary to some opinions below). If he slowed it up, it would become annoying or boring. Like saying 'pardon when asking people to repeat something, you can skip back, and you only have to do it once!

    EXCELLENT VIDEO I'm pastor and since the coronavirus has hit we can have more than 3 people meeting. I'm looking at using Zoom to record my weekly sermon and then post to allow members of my three churches to view at their leisure. Thanks again for a GREAT video.

    • @toney5043
      @toney5043 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pastor, unless you need the share screen function, you may want to consider setting up a TH-cam Channel, recording your sermon off line and then upload it to your TH-cam Channel. The reason is, Zoom does not afford one the flexibility to edit in a true post production environment. Post production will allow you to turn out a much better product.

    I'm new to Zoom and will be doing it for my classes now that schools are closed. The place where maybe you went a little too fast was I'm not understanding how I send this to my students? I get the copy the URL but I'm not sure how to get to the "pages" to where that URL site was copied to? Our students all have a Canvas page and I plan on placing the URL site within the announcement section. Thank you so much for this video, you really helped ease my stress level since teachers have to learn this within our spring break time to be ready to teach next Monday!

    Thank you for posting this video. I am new to zoom and don't know anything about it, but because the covid19 crisis and the nature of my business, I'm being forced to run tutorials online.
    One quick question to you or your audience, is it possible to keep ourselves showing on-screen while we host a meeting? For teaching purposes it is very important for instructors to know how they look on screen, so we know what our students see.
    Thanks again. Great job.

I noticed right away for example that the ‘audio settings’ you were referring to did not exist on my iPad Zoom app. If all you have is an iPad or Phone can you still host a small meeting or will I be too echoey without a headset?

      Step #1: If you are the "Host" launch Zoom.
      Step #2: Everyone logging on after you should click "Join" to enter the meeting.
      Step #3: To add your associate as a "Co-Host" simply click on the "Manage Participants" in the Taskbar. A list of the participants will pop up on the right side of the screen.
      Step #4: Find your associate's name and hover your mouse over their name.
      Step #5: A "More" button will show the right of their name.
      Step #6: Click the dropdown menu and you will see an option to make that person a "Co-host". That's it!
