using tubes Crackheads usually are more haggard/broke looking and more chill (unless they’re fiending then you’ll have a problem) tweakers are the ones bobbing and dancing to music we can’t hear and usually the more aggressive of the two. I’d rather deal with crackheads tbh, like I said, throw em a few bucks or some smokes and there’s a good chance they’ll bugger off.
@@colebrown8293 Ok, well it isn't an exact quote, but it's almost what the guy in the video said, with a word missing, and a couple words incorrectly flipped around.

in my city someone fixed a bunch of stairs at the park for 500$ personal cost. This was needed for years and he was frustrated. they tore it down i mean right away putting in a 35 000 $ bunch of stairs... they get mad for insurance purposes. someone getting hurt might sue them for your repair no matter how good it is..what a waste though
Dude this was amazing. I miss those days. But what's even cooler is watching docs likes this on D7 or the Brooklyn banks or the pyramid ledges or whatever. And then being able to go skate the spots on Session. Might just be me being corny. 🤣
Switch varial is the coolest trick for me. Switch inward probably the best one done though. Honorable mentions to the Deathwish team's switch flip and switch heelflips.
most of this was filmed in the "awkward" years of skateboarding. after the baggy pants but before the chick pants....the generation i grew up skating in.
Visited this place in probably...1997? Saw a skater named Brandon John? Later saw him in 411. It was a decent looking spot but we were there just to check it out while we were traveling between Maryland and a few other places ..landsdown...and somewhere else I don't remember...
I forgot that I filmed Geo's rail ollie (Long Lens) but always thought that was crazy since it was so long ago & its a huge rail set back... Also shout out to Sloan for his Stalefish down the blocks, I cant remember but I think Dustin Charlton did a Switch Ollie & maybe Fakie ollied it.. Also I feel like Billy Rohan had a trick or two? All those would have been around 99-05ish
Remember going here back in 03-04 when it first started blowing up. I stood on top of it and was like wow I can't even run and jump this thing. By far Antonio's nollie backside flip I don't even see how that is possible, really don't. The ground is so fucked and it would hurt like hell to fall, ground is so rough.
Classic Darrell Stanton butter. That sw bs 180 was so fucking textbook. You couldn’t have made it look anymore effortless. He had to wait till he rolled away for a bit to fix his shades. Lol I always thought Darrell was as cool as he looked on the board. Fucking legend.
I wonder who the architect was that designed the whole block area. It has a very postmodern feel to it. Definitely not the work of a creative person. I wonder if they ever found out that their project became a haven for skateboarders?
There is a spot with the same vibe like this outside of downtown Cleveland off east 55th, handful of pros skated it and its been in a few videos when they would come here for demos, right behind the projects, same type of shit, had to go with a crew of like 5-10 skaters or it would be really sketchy. Still kind of was but still a lot of fun if nobody fucked with you.
Man these old clips make you feel old when you see 13 year olds these days getting coached to do all the tricks in the first 2:30 of the video first try lol
I could watch and listen to stories like this all day. Skateboarding history.

Well played sir. Well played
Crack ain't a problem it's a solution
That got a genuine laugh dude funny. But it's not the first crack cover up those cops be sprinkling crack on all the black.
Hahahaha very clever
I wish someone would fill my crack.
We need this type of video from every famous skate spot, these mini documentaries are soooo sick

😂👍
How i can send you real tacos fr mexico my friend? You deserve it for that nostalgia shot

Getting kicked out by a crackhead is even more terrifying
Give em crack or money and they'll be your bodyguard, learn to hustle son
@Chad Kensington
Says a guy who's probably never been around method addicts or crack heads.
And is named Chad... Chad Kensington.
Waynimations Crackheads aren’t that bad, tweakers are way worse. Give a crackhead a burger and a few bucks and they’ll leave you be.

This was a very enjoyable, insightful narrative of a landmark skate site. Well done, and thanks.
Holy shit, both of Nick Tucker's tricks had more style in them than anything I've ever done in my entire life.
I did not know this series existed, SUCH A GREAT SERIES!
What a rad quick part on this epic spot. I completely enjoyed this! I loved all the context
That switch inward was 😱
SW Inward Heel is still my favorite trick ever done here. With boo's Hardflip in close 2nd. I'm a sucker for sylish, proper Hardflip-esque tricks.
Nick's got the cleanest looking heelflip variations, dude kills it.

They were probably just wondering what the hell they were doing in the hood at 2am. I doubt they actually cared that they were fixing cracks.
No one said they got mad. He said they rolled up and said, what are you doing? Aka telling them it’s not safe to be there at nighttime
Yeah, because just poring concrete to fill a crack is differently something people should just allow, no dmg can happen.
TWD I mean what damage is really going to happen? I don’t understand wtf you’re on about. Also it’s not “differently” is “definitely”
He is right about Marek. If anyone on the Primitive team deserves to be pro, it's Marek Zaprazny!!
