Hahah, I've recently been undoing all my bad habits of drinking too much and over spending on things I can just make at home for cheap and it's been awesome! Recently got a early morning job which allows my body to slowly recover physically and get back to my old self when I used to skate almost everyday back during 2014 before Senior year and having a gf and all that extra jazz. I know if I really keep at it I'll be able to control the drinking to where I'll all but even want to think of it bc of it potentially ruining my drive for skateboarding for good. A drink every now and then is fine ya know, you do you! But I mainly did it bc I worked a job where my boss actively hated me and wanted me fired and he did. I just needed to cope with something and unfortunately it was booze... Now things are calm for once in my life and it's really such a comfortable feeling!

Getting old is weird. Your body goes downhill and with it your skating, but you're much wiser. It would be great if younger kids would listen to you because you could feel useful passing down some knowledge, but kids, they're like, nah old man, you suck. They don't realize they're gonna get old a suck too one day.
Guy was so hyped he meet Erik he almost got hit by a car....twice lol I would be the same way. The other day Billy Marks showed up to my local and all my friends where sitting and watching him skate and I was so hyped he was there I was skating with him trying shit I never do even though I suck doing FS boardslides on the bump to rail while Billy is fuckin Tre flipping to BS boardslide fs shuv out lol. There is nothing like seing a legend skate in person when they are having a good day, the only thing I regret is that I didn't say hi to him and introduce myself I just didn't want to bug him and make him feel uncomfortable.
I feel like Palace is so out of touch, how could any real skateboarder have enough money to pay for that shit?! shit looks so gentrified it hurts my soul.... I will never understand "high fashion"

We can't change decisions that we made in the past only learn from the mistakes. I don't regret all the time wasted drinking and getting fucked up because it got me to where I am today but I certainly have no intention of trying to recreate those times.
I think its fuckin sick how Ellington and a lot of the other baker guys did a lot of fuck shit in the past and did what young skater kids are supposed to do, and now theyre all set up got their lives on track and working harder than ever coolest shit to see
