Stop signs in most parking lots are more of a suggestion than a requirement, unless, there are pedestrians or cross traffic.
It took longer for the car to get there than you walking to it
Bruh... This video was way too short, tha hell is wrong with you. My popcorn still has 20 seconds left in the microwave. Come on bro. Unbelievable.
@@alexmayer8943 lol. If Tesla can extend the range on the smart summon, I’d love to come back and try parking even further away. I may be doing some smart salmon and parking videos in the next week or so with some drone footage.
@@FSDwithme The summon "reaction" videos are awesome. Can't wait to see more.
my ass doesnt work, even in empty walmart parking lot says cant use on public blabla. sucks
It won’t work if you have to cross into a public road, even if it has a slow speed limit.
@FSDwithme ita not that. It just thinks it's a public road at all times. Something is off. Won't work in any private parking lot. Maybe worked once or twice since the update
@@dsilva2012that is odd. Hope it fixes in next update.
If only they kept the parking sensors and radar, I would trust this way more. That is why I am not purchasing FSD to my Tesla (Model Y performance). I wish they had the option to add those afterwards.
I’m not sure if sensors will be in play when detecting the stop sign, that’s more camera based, but I do wish they kept the sensors for general FSD performance and spacing between cars. I’m really impressed either way what they could do with cameras.
Do you use parking sensors and radar when you drive?
@@truhartwood3170 My Tesla does not have those sensors.. it works completely off the vision based camera system.
@@FSDwithme I was asking the OP if he uses USS and radar when he, himself, is driving. Obviously the answer is 'no' and therefore obviously those aren't needed to drive safely and reliably. Especially since the vision the car does have is better than human vision since it can see 360° around the car, and never gets distracted having to look away to change the radio station or something.
Can it drop me off and go look for a parking spot and park itself?
That is being worked on and could be the next major release. Hopefully by next year. 🎉
Is ass only 30 trials or permanent
@@TamTran-hy8dj I have FSD so it’s included. No cap and permanent.
Didn’t it blow that 3 way stop sign? Went around the car and did a California stop sign
See my next video where I confirmed this and retested it. 😮
Work, but honestly it is too slow, will make busy parking lot busier. But it really work well when in an off-peak parking lot.
Where was it too slow in this example?
@@PilotYTT_Official I'm curious also. I don't believe a human would get there any faster +- less than a min at peak Costco hrs it cant do any but wait till people move out of the way. I would rather use it at less busier PL just for the sake of comfortability as theres less things that can go wrong.
@@PilotYTT_Official fast or slow, depends on person. Pasta or your feeling, I will ask for pasta.
It's a parking lot not a freaking freeway.
@@justrandomthings319 yes, still a lil slow so it is still not practical than walking to your car and if it hits who will take responsibility… it is a fun remote toy car. Again your opinion is yours not mine.
2:23 it just blows through the 3 way stop
All that with 5 percent of battery
5% of battery? Huh? He has 79% left.
But the FSD still doesn’t work and is a work in progress
It’s definitely improving but not a finished product by far. 😊
If it hits someone you are screwed
As soon as you lift your finger off the button, it slams on brakes hard. Its not going to hit people. Its been out for weeks now and hundreds of thousands of morons have their hands on this technology now. No ones been hit, so its safe to assume its safe enough to not run people over. Only crash I can even find is at home depot, someone had planks of wood sticking out and summon clipped the edge of the wood with its mirror. We might see some edge cases like this, but I seriously doubt we will see ASS hit a person unless they were taking a nap under your front bumper.
Great video! I had fun using it a Costco as well. Check out the video I posted. It was so busy
What if FSD runs over an elderly person and kills him ? What will you do or will you be put in jail for involuntary manslaughter???
I can stop it at any time. I just need to release my finger off my phone screen. If one’s f to restart I just press down on the summon button.
@@FSDwithme but your eyes cannot see around the corner trust me I have three Teslas already
@@FLORIDIANMILLIONAIREHe can watch the front camera view from his phone. You can control it without being able to see the car at all. Also, the car would stop, as you can clearly see from the video the car handled all those pedestrians just fine with him holding down the summon button continuously. Taking your finger off the summon button is just a backup/failsafe.
Same thing that would happen if he was driving. People hit people all the time as they are distracted by phones and everything else. Sometimes I trust the car more then my self. But yes I worry about bugs but then that can happen with any technology.
